It's a shame that Perfect Strangers isn't as popular as Family Matters If they can air Family Matters,SBS and Full House then they can air Perfect Strangers
I love this theme song, it's pretty uplifting and wouldn't be hard to work with as a stand alone tune. Miss the good days of television before "reality" TV and British snob produced talent shows came into existence.
He wanted to become a photographer/photojournalist; he also wanted to move out because he wanted his own space away from his huge family. Larry eventually became a reporter at the Chicago Chronicle.
Lionel Richie should've sang the theme song to this show because it sounds a lot like "Dancing On The Ceiling", which came out the same year as this show (1986).
You're thinking of the later Lorimar Television "Marble Background" logo from 1988/89-93. The original "Lorimar Line of Doom" is basically the early version of the "Marble Version" of the Lorimar Television logo on a scary black background w/ the same animation as its successor.
The next episode from season one, Happy Birthday, Baby, was actually in production when Mark learned of his father's death, and was even noted in the closing credits of that episode. Considering the stress and emotion that Mark was going through, his hilarious performance in that episode appears virtually miraculous in hindsight.
Me, too. I like the remixed theme that popped up in season 3, but the action shots around Chicago didn't grab me the way the two previous season's openings did.
Haha, loved this as a kid!
Bronson Pinchot in BHC was freaking awesomely funny too....

William Nelson Baker, is he related to
actor Mark Linn-Baker???

Oh, because I only saw the 1990-1993
seasons back when I was a little kid
plus I had a friend who was a child actor
and we always watch this show.
Also that George Lopez actress named
Belita Moreno is also in the show too,
as a guest star in 1986s' seasons, then
became part of the show in the 1990s'
seasons.

The original Lorimar closing logo is missing.
mrceleb2006 4 years ago
If you buy the Season 1 and 2 DVDs the Lorimar logo is present on all of the episodes.

Are you talking about both the Lorimar "Line of Doom" and the Lorimar-Telepictures logos?
megamanj2007 4 years ago
Yes.
mrceleb2006 4 years ago
By the "Line of Doom" are you talking about the logo where "Television" is seen on the red line zooming in?
gameshowguy2000 4 years ago
Nope; the late 1970s "Line of Doom" with the dreamy Jack Elliott/Allyn Ferguson tune.
