Was I getting something?") and every song I hear gets stuck in my head and repeats over and over... until I hear something else... then it starts again.
zoloft is probly not for this guy. ssri's have been proven to be very successful. you wont lose who you are, you just become more apathetic to certain things. i take 200mgs every day for anxiety and it works great. i had side effects when i first started on a low dose but they are now almost non existant. except you get dizzy if you stop cold turkey.

Not all meds good for all people. I tried Zoloft, and Paxil. Felt numb. I now have taken Cymbalta. Wonderful medication for me. I have joy and peace, can even draw again after 20 years of deppression. I've been taking it for 4 years. It's been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I prayed all the time for God to heal me of deppression. He choosed this way, thru Medication.

Pretty bad for such a low dose. I take 200 mg with no side effects anymore. All I can say is just give it a chance. Anxiety is my biggest concern, especially with panic attacks. SSRIs can cause anxiety for a while and typically many physicians will prescribe benzodiazepine anxiolytics to stop the anxiety the drugs may cause at first. Keep in mind, it is important to have a good doctor.
I applaud you for having the courage to share your pain. I too suffer from panic attacks and know what its like. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Know that your not alone. Hang in there. Peace be with you.
people that suffer from this are not crazy. Most of what we feel is inside ourselves. Most don't take meds. If you havn't been there how can you commet. People with this don't fear...they feel different then you do. It's not fear. Maybe its a control problem. We don't feel safe unless we have control. Be carefull around people that what control.
