No, there's actually gameplay. The Chobits GBA game is kind of like a dating sim kind of thing. If you've ever played a Japanese dating sim.

Right. If you watch the whole video, you'll see it also has some little "mini-games" too, like having to press the correct button combination to make Hideki dance with Plum in the mornings for their exercise. Lol
