Are people who don't drink, Lame??

I dont drink cause its not my thing same with people who dont smoke (i also dont smoke) just something i dont do i never really been keen on it i tried it about three times when i was 18 (thats also when i first tried it) and its just not my thing im 20 now and still no interest in it and i cant see if i ever will ether i mean its just a drink at the end of the day.

Hey! my question to you is: Did you stopped not to drink or not and why?

I personally drink about one time in a moth and I'm 16, but when I drink I drink a Iot thing I like about it is that I am more sociable than normally and that everything's like in a dream ,you know, I know I shouldn't drink so much, cause one time I had problems with police... I don't want it again What I hate about it is that I usually throw up and not only next but about 2-3 days after "drinking day"I feel a bit drunk

Imo, when I get to friend's get-togethers and such, they say "Come to the fun table! we got alcohol!"

If it's so fun, why do you need alcohol?

alcohol makes things fun, sure, but I'd do it if i'm not with friends,

who needs it?

Yeah people most def will treat you different when you don't drink. I for one have never been a drinker I just dont like the taste of alcohol but I often us to find myself in situations with my friend out at the bar or the lounge etc. and they're main focus would be tryin to find a drink I liked and I would just tell them why waste your money when you know Im not going to drink it..We can have fun still without me drinkin and if they wanna drink go on...lol and now I hardly ever get invited out.

Hey Girl! I don't drink alcohol and whenever someone is uncomfortable with the fact that I don't drink I can tell right away. That uncomfortable person is the one that periodically throughout the night will make a comment to me or about me not drinking, when everyone else could care less what I am drinking or not drinking. Sometimes we non-drinkers want to have a good time but not when someone keeps pointing it out all night right?

Funny people say they don't like the taste, but I could careless about the taste, for me it's the concept in general. Alcohol is completely pointless, period. There is no other way to describe it's uselessness. There is absolutely no need for it to even exist, if you can't live life without a beverage there is something terribly wrong with you.

@Phenomenalwon Good for you. but there are many other reasons that people drink alcohol. It becomes a lot less about popularity and more about personal enjoyment and 'taste'.

I really APPRECIATE this issue about the association w/ drinking, being lame or not welcome to hang and having fun....MOST people who drink think that if they go out .....they HAVE to drink in order to have a good time or a *BETTER* time!!! I also know that if you say you dont drink majority of the time they will not want to go out w/ them...???? This is ashame!!!...OHWELL!!! Thanks for bringing this out!!

Hey TT! I stopped drinking years ago and I DO NOT MISS IT @ ALL! I was never a heavy drinker but at one point I just decided to stop. I must admit that people's mouth will hit the floor when I tell them, lol!!! Congrats on your 8 months hon!!

I feel you...I don't drink and people tend to think i'm acting snooty because of it....I say to each their own....If i'm not pressuring you to stop drinking then you should not pressure me to do so....
