In Germany, where I am from we also have political journalism. However, it is nothing as a bad as in U.S. How can anybody take Fox News serious? They so often do exactly what the journalist in this video wrongly did. Decide upfront on the story and then try to "discover" it even if it is not out there.

from the perspective of looking at both sides, so far, i agree with your comments. For example, watching both FOX news and MS NBC, you get a sense of a clearer picture with MSNBC, even with this same issue, if you watch and read the full length of the story, the mother in question, had more going on than just the "no longer a (official) member".

Yeah, you're right. News reporters do not rreport. They weave narratives, they access existing prejudices to do so as a starting point. It's lazy and wrong.

You must admit that both sides do it, though... No?
