to me this is the only program that looks close to pro tools like the way the software looks, i think i'll buy this and rewire with cubase which will be amazing.
It was written by one of the main developers of Nuendo. I happen to like all of the drag and drop stuff. It really simplfies the workflow. Also the project window is brilliant for doing 2 track stuff where you have a million files to deal with.
Can you also load in plug-ins which do not come in standard? for example a z3ta or an absynth? Or is this more like Reason where you get a standard map of plugins and you can only use those?
This DAW is awesome, ignore people who say because it has a lower entry level, it can't compare with some of the more known DAW's. The workflow is amazing.
I just did a test song for the first time at home using this software on a basic windows 7 computer with 2 gig ram and stock AC97 soundcar. All went well with aux jack sterio input. Simple to use.... great mixdown sound
oh wow didnt know logic 10 was coming out.......lol I tried the demo and it kind of feels alil logic-ish, but it has some cool stuff of its own, that might be able to compete and make it a player.
that just looks so incredibly refreshingly and impressively simple, especially with someone without a huge background that really wants to get into music production
It wont accept the beastie boys a cappella WAV files that i downloaded? Anyone know if theres certain file it cant handle?

This was a new product intro at a tradeshow with the head of sales. I wouldn't exactly call him an amateur. I am glad you like the product.

@FullscaleAV do they have a dvd on how to work everything like what cubase and pro tools have for people that are just starting with the program
xXKonvictMuzikXx 2 years ago
There is a feed inside of the program that links to training videos on the presonus site. No DVD needed.
