I agree with your comments about the weaknesses in her vocals, but to be fair to her, there's not many singers that could do Kurt justice. Her voice is well suited to certain songs, but probably not this one........sorry Venke fans.

Im norwegian myself and i dont like this version at all. Kurt is too much and doesnt get the song. He has a really strong voice but he always gives full throttle on every song he sings and make it in a way pretty cheesy.

Europe have so many great singers, its so sad that only few North Americans are expose to these singers through word of mouth or through internet, like YouTube. I think theyre awesome singers, great songs, good videos, etc. I just wish most north americans have a great taste in music...like me. Like when people ask me who my fave singers/bands are, theyll be like "HUH?" cuz most of the artists ill be saying are European, Australian & South Americans. tsk tsk tsk

That was amazing! Kurt Nilsen has such a great voice, Venke Knutson's voice is very unique and nice.

However, i like Tim McGraw's version of this song more. But this one definitly isn't bad.
