my dad served in the army as well and he jumped from one of the planes and his parachute didnt come out right...so we went splat! and I was sad when he told me this but hes alright now

my dad served in the army and before he retired hw went to the iraq war and this song came on and i just burst into tears....& months later he came home..

i used to listen to this song when my dad left to go to saudi but it used to make me cry and id cry all night so i soon figured out that i wouldnt really think bout him not here by my side so i stoped listening to this song and they played this song when he left and when he came home! im happy he made it home safe n wish everyone did but life isnt that easy...
