@ramin93 The fact that neither side can fully prove or disprove the existence of god doesn't mean that they should be weighted equally, or that the difference is only of opinion. There's actually a lot of solid evidence against god's existence and against the bible's claims. All atheists recognize that we do not yet know the answer to the God question, but evidence is such that we don't think the existence of one is likely and we will thus live our life on the basis that there is no god.

Religious people might not be able to provide evidence, that qualifies as 'evidence,' that God exists to the Atheists, but neither Atheists can prove that God doesn't exist. So at the end of the day It's really the way you look at it, from your perspective. All a debate will try to do, is change the way you look at it. There is no strong evidence from both parties. I personally, do believe in God. But I can't prove that God exists. Neither could any hardcore atheist ever change my perspective.

Why do we have tail bones? Why do men have nipples? Why do men have navels? This is evolutionary baggage from the change from the common ancestor to us. We did not evolve from apes, we've evolved from a common ancestor. 2 strands from one ancestor, we're COUSINS with chimpanzees and bonobos.

@seraph595 No, we didn't evolve from monkeys. We evolved from a creature that lived a few hundred thousand years ago and from that creature came chimpanzees and human beings. We have tail bones (which have no use to us) because predesecor had a tail or tail bone. Why would a god thing put a tail bone and nipples on us when we don't need them or have any use for them. That's not intelligent.

Ok go all the way back up the 'evolutionary tree', and you will notice that NONE of the human 'ancestors' had tails. Get it? So a tail bone is not evidence of evolution. And 'your belief system' is born from a lot of atheist indoctrination via evolutionary theory and probably a healthy dose of abiogenesis.
