There have been several ideological changes within the 2 parties. The most recent came with the Presidency of FDR. When the constituencies of a party change, the party changes as well.
Since I'm not giving history lessons, I'll only give you the changes that came with FDR's presidency. To make a very long story short, he attracted Blacks, Jews, Women, poor whites, and other ethnic minorities to the Democratic party through his economic policies. This is not exactly hidden knowledge. Repubs used to be the liberals (when Lincoln was President), and Dems used to be the Conservatives. This is common knowledge, I'm not too sure what to think of you if you deny this.

Since I'm not giving history lessons, I'll only give you the changes that came with FDR's presidency. To make a very long story short, he attracted Blacks, Jews, Women, poor whites, and other ethnic minorities to the Democratic party through his economic policies. This is not exactly hidden knowledge. Repubs used to be the liberals (when Lincoln was President), and Dems used to be the Conservatives. This is common knowledge, I'm not too sure what to think of you if you deny this.

Americans just don't realize how people see them throughout the World. Violence brings violence. The current USA government is hated and it reflects directly to the people. The USA needs an Obama to start healing the relationship with other countries before something bigger than 9/11 happens.
