  • Its funny that you don't know the difference between hail and snow.

  • This hailstorm was massive...but later saw many dead birds and all our garden plants withered...anyone alive here who was out in open that day!!!

  • its not snow dude, it was a hailstorm that had happened. I remember this very well coz my boards(10th) were going on at that time and i was preparing for EVS.

It was an awesome experience........i had never seen such a hailstorm before. the whole place was white as if it was a real snowfall. and well trees and crops were destroyed

anyway thanz a bunch for uploading this video. brings back old memories of 10th

  • Infact in 1940's D.Dun did recieved inches of snow,Really climate has changed drastically

  • It was in January 1944.

It had also snowed in February 1906.

In February 1814 an exceptional snowfalls leave a blanket in the town for several days.

    It will never happen again.

  • its actually the hailstorm (april2007).......which is thought to be the heaviest.....

i remember it hit doon in the morning........but the snow didn't disappear....until next day........

  • we actually recently had a very hailstorm not a snowfall!

  • Coooool

  • Cool Video

  • Hey just noticed the date at the begining of the video, 13th march ... Doon valley had a snowfall in MARCH! ...strange.

  • Hello Mr. Dumb.. Dehradun never had a snowafall in last 70 yrs atleast...So either its a hailstorm ,which most probably it is, or it's not Dehradun.

  • Thanks for your nice reply and clarifying. I asked about it to my brother in Dehra Dun and he told me that they had a heavy hailstorm that turned the ground white with hail pieces and not a snow fall. I am sorry about my angry comment too. I should have known it was a teenager! Please don't mind.

  • When did this happen? I was there 20 years and never saw snow fall.

  • if you never saw snow fall there then i think you must type 20 days not 20 years. O.K. Please improve your G.K. At present your Grade is "ZERO".

  • What a moronic and rude reply! This is not a GK question nor was this a quiz/exam where I get a grade. I never experienced it in my 20 winters there - at least not in the city. Maybe this is from the upper Rajpur or near Mussoorie. Or maybe you cannot differenciate between frost and snow.

  • Hello Prijak

I m extremely Sorry, I never send u any reply. I was surprised when I received your comment. Actually that is my 14 year niece who was operating my computer on that day. She wrote innocently. We have no intension to hurt any one. Sorry once again.

    Bye
