Most people could not afford to pay an attorney for the time necessary to prepare and take a case to trial. If lawyers were not willing to work potentially without a fee, many, many people would be financially devastated without hope after an injury caused by another person's carelessness. Those corporations would have little incentive to improve their products safety if not for those lawyers.
No Win No Fee is an excuse for lawyers to line their pockets at the expense of everyone of you reading this. Have you had a trip or fall etc. Here in the UK we have compensation lawyers on £800 per hour suing our hospitals whilst children die in hospital. The bills run into tens of thousands of pounds that the so - called otherside has to pay. The companies being sued have to recoop their costs by increasing the services and goods they offer to the public and you all pay for it.
