Some people are so evil and they parade around as if they wouldn't hurt a fly. Those are the ones you have to keep an eye on or else you'll be saying "Oh no, he wouldn't hurt anybody. He is a really nice person."
I have a question, I had just been reading about this beautiful little girl, and I feel so saddened for what happened to her. I can't seem to find the answer anywhere as to why Jada was in her cousin's care for that long. They had her on the 15th through the 16th, without her mother asking how she is, or talk to her or see her? I want to know why she would let her daughter be gone for more than 24 hours and not check on her. Can anyone please tell me why Jada was in her cousin's care that long?
Of course, I've been busy. But not busy enough not to have my daughter every night, though. Would never leave my 2 year old daughter with anyone for more than 9 hours. Especially if a stranger (a non family member) would be around her the whole time. And most especially heroine addicts. If she is that close to her niece, I'm sure she has some idea that she and her boyfriend are in some kind of drugs.
But hey, that's just me, and the way I was raised and the way I am with my own kids.

We didn't know she was doing heroin. We didn't know she was doing anything like that. Her mother probably did, but told no one because she pretends her family is perfect.
Her niece? Who's niece? She's my niece and Engelica's cousin and my sister's daughter.

She dropped that poor little defenseless baby off on June 8th and wasn't supposed to get her back until the 22nd. (you forget it was ALL over the news) MORE THAN A DAY IS TOO LONG! She had not even talked to her for three days.

I did not defend her. I simply stated that she /did/ love her. Do you not realize that people who take drugs get severely messed up? She was on track and then messed up horribly, again and then she did something like this.

Prosecutors say Gamez has a drug addiction and has six other children who live with their father. They say she admitted to being addicted to cocaine during her latest pregnancy.
In the Michigan City News Dispatch it does say she was found encased in cement that had been in shallow water for several days. That is the paper everyone gets in LaPorte County. Search for it in an engine. It will pop up. and NWI TIMES IS A GOOD ONE TOO!
Also wanted to inform you that there was a search today of the property in Baker County that Haleigh Cummings mother and grandmother live on. As far as I know reports are stating that nothing of interest was found.

I read online she was found in rural LaPorte county. I was born and raised in there. I also read that the boyfriend got the burns on his face due to burning her body. Jada didn't die from the burns that was reported. The cousin and her boyfriend have both been arrested. I seen a picture of the boyfriend online and I thought wow..those burns are healing. Well they say they think Jada was burn't almost 2 weeks ago. That would explain the healing on his face.

She was found in a field near Otis, IN 30 miles from Gary. The babysitter and her bf are in custody. I just saw their mugshots online. The bf has burns on his face-I was thinking meth lab explosion at first (Gary area is just full of drugs and crime)
but the article said it is possible he burnt his face trying to burn Jada's body.
I can't imagine the condition that her body was in-it has been so hot and humid here in Indiana. And sadly the person(s) responsible for this probably won't get the death pentalty. I live in NE Indiana and heard on the news the other day that IN does not want anymore dp cases because they cost too much. How can you put a price on a person's life?

Okay, here are some answers.
1. She did check on her, not on those days, but before she did.
2. I know from experience that she'll call almost everyday, but sometimes she gets busy. Ever been busy?
3. She was with a trusted family member.
4. It wasn't planned that she was going to stay that long, it just happened. Maybe she was getting things settled?

I spotted an article at cbs2chicago that states: A source tells CBS 2's Pamela Jones that the body was found encased in concrete, in a plastic bin.
Boy, oh boy, this is really awful if this is what actually happened to Jada.
