I think mlh, that press is covering ONLY cause it's 'news'. And, the first in saying CO2 emissions (among other GHG) cause Climate Change were the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)...

At this point, i think we're so close to the catastrophe, that the cameras are in all directions.. hey have to cover it cause it's an 'scandal'... but you can bet tomorrow they'll be in the other side if that would give them better news though...

It's funny that those who advocate CO2 is causing global warming are allowed to slip through the highly biased net of the corporate controlled media yet those who advocate CO2 does not cause global warming are nowhere to be seen, hmmm. To me that looks like the BBC want people to be seen fighting for a reduce in CO2. Suspicous? you bet it is.
