interesting work..how is the anchor controlled when being hauled aboard in big seas ,so that it dosen't go charging all about the dck once it is aboard?

Usually there are restrictions on the weather for these operations. but the weight of the chain back towards the rig, combined with hydralic towingpins keeps the anchor in position.

Our ship worked with the LB200 on a pipeline from UK to Norway ;-)

The Poseidon is on chart with Acergy Piper, formerly known as the LB200.

We will be working on it the next month.
