Just cause your SF or Seal doesn't mean your physically stronger than anybody.Its all a mind game.... Plus SF AND Seals are trained for completely different mission types, Its like Comparing a Ranger to SF. @EyesOfTheSouthSTi 1,500 or so in active duty compare to the 20,000 form all other SF branches, pretty sure they deserve it. they have the hardest training out of any SF team also, behind them being the marine force recon
@bigmix70 Still does not indicate they are the best. Hardest SF to get into is Delta Force. Seals not so much since you can sign up and go right to their training after basic. Delta you need a certain amount of years in a special forces branch just to be considered then you must go through intense training and a psych interview.
One is a warrior, one is an athlete. Also, I hope you guys realize MMA fighters are trained to fight. Special Forces soldiers are trained to kill. Just saying.

you guys know nothing about arm wrestling. Pro arm wrestlers have a peg for their opposite hand to hold (hence the guy holding the table. Also The MMA guy turned the corner on him (he had wrist control) that's why the special forces arm was extended. All legal stuff and pr's also use their weight AND whenever you lift your arm from the table more than once you lose. SO the special forces guy loses still.

the reason the special forces guy lost was beacuse his arm was extented further froward than the mma fighters because they aren't both in the center of the table, if they had been the mma guy would have lost cos the special forces guy is a little stronger and has more endurance which is why it lasted so long when the mma guy had his arm so close to the table for so long

The street is different to a cage! Take fingers in areshole of opponent / fish hooking / advanced scrotum twisting techniques / eye gouging / punches to throat / fingers up nose / biting / spitting, etc - all 'legal' in a street fight but all illegal in a MMA fight. Say technique against grappler - ram your thumb up there arsehole then with fingers of same hand use Dragons Claw to buttock cheek so they cannot pull away from you, nobody can take that & keep fighting!

It's a rule in real arm wrestling that you're other hand must hold the table, And its nothing wrong with using your body weigh, you're supposed to used your whole body when you arm wrestle. The only thing that matters is what I said first and that your wrestling arm's elboew is in the table/whatever you're wrestling on.

Just cause your SF or Seal doesn't mean your physically stronger than anybody.Its all a mind game.... Plus SF AND Seals are trained for completely different mission types, Its like Comparing a Ranger to SF. A Rangers sole purpose is to be an elite fighter, While SF means exactly what it means Special Operations.Not always fighting... I'm a Level 3 Combative in the army I'm skinny and am not as strong as most people, but as a soldier I'm taught to fight were size don't matter.

@bigmix70 Still does not indicate they are the best. Hardest SF to get into is Delta Force. Seals not so much since you can sign up and go right to their training after basic. Delta you need a certain amount of years in a special forces branch just to be considered then you must go through intense training and a psych interview.

Look at it this way, the army guy's (black shirt) body is conditioned for extreme endurance. While the MMA guy's (white shirt) body is for raw powe. Either trait can give you the advantage. Also keep this in mind, now and days some MMA fighters are former military. Some soldiers are former MMA fighters. This is just a friendly little thing amongst people in a work environment. Don't think TOO much into it.

actually the guy in the white knew how to arm wrestle. he used technique. the special forces guy didn't have any technique at all. in fact, with the way he was rotating his body in an opposite direction of his arm, it is surprising he didnt snap it in half.

you guys know nothing about arm wrestling. Pro arm wrestlers have a peg for their opposite hand to hold (hence the guy holding the table. Also The MMA guy turned the corner on him (he had wrist control) that's why the special forces arm was extended. All legal stuff and pr's also use their weight AND whenever you lift your arm from the table more than once you lose. SO the special forces guy loses still.

the reason the special forces guy lost was beacuse his arm was extented further froward than the mma fighters because they aren't both in the center of the table, if they had been the mma guy would have lost cos the special forces guy is a little stronger and has more endurance which is why it lasted so long when the mma guy had his arm so close to the table for so long

@jagarstark Are you saying that special forces soldiers dont use technique, but are just as good as your average bar brawler? lol. So look into the "Modern Army Combatives" program. Its based a lot on Hélio Gracie's Brazilian jitsu. As well as kick boxing, wrestling, and whatever else. Soldiers arent trained to make em tap, there trained to kill. There would be no contest!
