I'm respecting your ideas guys. But you can't compare to someone. This is Ecesu Sertesen's interpretation... My interpretation. Also I don't like Stolzman's Copland.
Superb! You play with power, authority, and true musicality.
When I was learning Brahms 120/1, I learned very much from your interpretation. Did you play 120/2 as well, and if so, do you have thoughts to share on this?
Thanks for your beautiful comment about my playing. Hope you enjoy it. I played 2nd Brahms Sonata but I haven't got any record =(. But I want to record professionally Brahms Sonatas one day. If I do that I'll send by e-mail.. =) Lot's of loves from Istanbul.
Thank you so much -- I would be honored to receive your recording.
I just wanted to say I have watched your videos many times. Whether you are playing with a (most excellent ) pianist or full orchestra, you play with complete control of your instrument and collaborate so very beautifully. Your love of the music shines throug,h and the listener is caught up in your enjoyment of it. That is true art.
Best wishes from sunny Los Angeles. Will we see you here one day?
Hi, first of all, absolutely beautiful! Amazing tone! Great technique! I am also a clarinet player, played for about 10 years, I am a senior in High school. I am Principal chair in the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony. I just finished Mozart's Clarinet Concerto and I'm moving on to this one soon! Thank you so much for the great recording!
P.S. I would have been more impressed had you played completely from memory :P
I am most impressed, both by your clarinet playing and by the standard of your university orchestra. Fazil Say is the only Turkish 'classical' performer at all well known in the UK, but it looks as if there are plenty more on the way. Bravo!
This is a lot of fun to hear. You play this well. The orchestra also sounds great.
Sorry to read that there are silly comparisons to other clarinet players. This should not be a competition. This is music not sport!

I don't enjoy Stolzman's either.... His vibrato bugs me. A lot.

pffffff
hay mujeres que no se deberían dedicar a estas cosas,,, y esta es una de ellas.
la orquesta sin embargo me ha gustado, síntoma de un buen director.

You just got insulted if you want to know:
"There are women who should not be spent on these things, and this is one of them.
But the band I liked, a symptom of a good director."
Look stuff up on Google Translate for stuff like this =)
Good tone and good choice of articulations
