LIFE is not a cell but it give power to move, reproduce and dance to a cell. A dead cell still is a cell and you can see all its element under microscope. Why Death and Life ? You can see cell but can you see LIFE and DEATH of it ? A broken car can be repair but can a dead cell alive again ? From where LIFE comes and where it goes ? NO answer at all.

The irony of it all! I myself am living proof that being a christian was not in any way helpful to me. You see THIS planet as "heaven"? Sure this place in an oasis for life but its NOT paradise at all! I really wish Matt would talk more about The Law after the crucifixion. He's absolutely right that the sacrificial laws were abolished after the crucifixion and that the moral laws would stay because there's no justification for them leaving. But what about the civil laws of Israel? Would a Christian still have to obey those even though the Christians didn't enter that covenant with the people of Israel? And what about the kosher laws that Jesus apparently said removed in Mark 7:14-15?

He doesn't explicitly say that dietary laws no longer apply, but he alludes to things going into the stomach and then being shit out. @Frank289100 On the contrary. I realized the only reason I was in church at that moment was because my parents are christians and their parents and so on. It didn't make me an atheist. I just kept listening to the pastor and after five years I came to the point where pastors couldn't teach me anything new. At the time I was probably agnostic. Two years later I went to college and I realized I was actually an atheist. There wasn't any alure to sin.

The irony of it all! I myself am living proof that being a christian was not in any way helpful to me. I was downright miserable as a christian due to my severe doubts, fear of hell, and countless other problems too numerous to type. As a christian I was suicidal cause I suffered severe depression and felt this life was pointless. Joy and peace of mind? I was paranoid, doubtful and self-loathing. Only now as an atheist have I found happiness. The truth behind the so-called Truth had set me free!

If you read the Sermon on the Mount--the whole thing, not a few verses plucked from it--it's clear that one who would follow Jesus must obey the whole of the Law. In fact, JC enjoins people to be *more* scrupulous in their observance than the scribes and the Pharisees! I really wish Matt would talk more about The Law after the crucifixion. He's absolutely right that the sacrificial laws were abolished after the crucifixion and that the moral laws would stay because there's no justification for them leaving. But what about the civil laws of Israel? Would a Christian still have to obey those even though the Christians didn't enter that covenant with the people of Israel? And what about the kosher laws that Jesus apparently said removed in Mark 7:14-15?

He doesn't explicitly say that dietary laws no longer apply, but he alludes to things going into the stomach and then being shit out. It's interpreted by biblical scholars that he's declaring all foods clean.

I just kept listening to the pastor and after five years I came to the point where pastors couldn't teach me anything new. At the time I was probably agnostic. Two years later I went to college and I realized I was actually an atheist. There wasn't any alure to sin.

I think you'll find most atheists are actually agnostic about the existence of gods, but they are also agnostic about the existence of fairies and unicorns. This is only under the basis that you can't disprove these things, and does not suggest even the slightest probability worth considering. I think the probability of the existence of your god is about 1 in 10^1000, and I wonder why you believe in a god, but not in unicorns.

@Frank289100 i`m glad you didn`t take any time at all to reflect at what dawkins actually said. he said that he could not state absolutely that there isn`t a god. however, he`s said that throughout his entire career. he writes the same thing in THE GOD DELUSION. he follows that statement by saying he is a 6.9 out of a 7 point system (1 being I KNOW THERE IS A GOD and 7 being I KNOW THERE ISN`T A GOD). however, it is very UNLIKELY that there is a god. try reading.

@Frank289100 atheism is not a claim that there is NO god; it simply states that those claiming that there is have not met their burden of proof. dawkins never stated, "there is no god." ever. as a scientist, that would be a very dangerous thing to say. dawkins, and most athiests acknowledge that if satisfactory, verifiable evidence for a god were presented then we would believe it. again, dawkins restated in that very conversation that the reality is that god is very unlikely to exist.

@Kloborgg On a scale of 1 - 7, seven being absolute, his confidence that there is no god rated about a six. 6 is below 7 absolutely no GOD. How is this agnostic. He is redefining his scale of 1-7, he realizes GOD exists and when he eventually acknowledges GOD he doesn't look bad academically. Agnostic means in between half way there. He will acknowledge GOD 100% eventually. He is afraid of what is on the other side. You should realize if you are wrong you will regret it forever.

@Frank289100 it's amazing how very little you've thought about this: stating that one cannot be certain that there is NO god does not mean that one believes there is a god. not knowing if a god does not god exist and acknowledging that there may, indeed, be a god (little g) is worlds apart from stating that God exists. again, dawkins has always maintained that on the 7 point scale, he's a 6.9. however, when it comes to the god of abraham, he does say that that god does not exist.

How did evolution design the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, diaphragm, digestive system, spleen, bladder these are just a few of an endless list put them all together to work in concert with each other. Design a skeletal structure to mount them in make it walk and talk. Put emotions into it make it reason and think. Evolution did this and not GOD. .
