Did they remaster this? I remember playing this but it always had a overall 'muffled' sound quality to it. That's my only complaint otherwise this album ROCKS!

I love Purple, but this particular song is a little to emerson, lake, and palmer for my taste. I prefer Machine Head over this album

Lord and Paice are cool, i'll give you that

Coverdale/Hughes lineup was far superior just for Burn alone.

Just turned 55 years old. I went to see Deep Purple many times - and Rainbow too; Ronnie James Dio was a truly great singer. Nothing, however, compares to the energy and invention of DP In Rock - this was ground- breaking stuff!

My 'claim to fame' was when Ritchie Blackmore soaked me with Lowenbrau while playing slide guitar with a bottle at Newcastle City Hall in 1972!
