@thalaxia The cattle get inoculated from disease and maybe shot up with hormones at the ranch but Ronald McDonald isn't running around spraying the hamburger with noxious chemicals.Plus, that's the same ground beef you buy in the grocery store.If you want meat without hormones/steroids ( that may not be present anyway) buy meat from a butcher who buys meat from a local farm that you can check out yourself or go in on a steer with friends.It's way less efficient and may cost a bit more though.
