Agreed. XTC would shred the bands around these days. When you listen to this today, as opposed to in 1981, you appreciate just how far XTC were ahead of their time. They were literally years ahead of everyone else. This sounds like mid-late 1990's Britpop! I was ten when this came out & it has stuck with me as a quality piece of music-superb! The bass line is fantastic!
