my buddy made 510whp on a stock gs-r head, benson sleved piston/rod motor, with the 60-1,,,car traped 128mph+.good little turbo the way your power comes on reminds me of his car..cept he loved the rev limiter (9200) a lil more :)..now he's on a 35r making over 600whp. looking for 145mph+! (car went 10.6@132mph @ ~530whp w\new turbo)

ive wanted to by a gsr and put an aggressive cam and intake with vtech it would sound awsome but they are expencive. an acura integ ls or gs not sure whats the difference are about 4-5grand and i hear u can buy a used turbo system for about 1500 and make close to 300whp on abt 9psi stock bottom end. how much these mods cost u if u dont mind me asking?

LS: Luxury Series

GS: Grand Series

The GS has the same motor as the LS. The main difference is the trim level. The GS is more "luxurious." It has power everything; windows, sunroof, steering, etc. The GS comes stock with leather interior and a rear spoiler.

The motor has about 15g's in it. Its bulletproof... For now at least. It's safely making over 500hp at 20 pounds so its doing alright.

cool thnx, what is ure view on ls/vtec conversions, i hear that they leak oil, would it be smart to do that conversion and put a turbo in it as well or would that be a waste?

Ls/Vtec conversions are great. If you do it properly, it won't leak oil. This integra is actually going vtec pretty soon. We have a port and polished B16 with a titanium valvetrain that we're putting on it and its a Ls block. Go for the Ls/Vtec... Just don't cut corners and do it properly and you'll be fine.

We didn't run it in the quarter yet but we should around Thanksgiving time. Its a Turbonetics 60 series. 60-1 Fullsize.
