I just love this song and this young man is a fantastic singer! I think he is only about 30 years old...I saw his birthday recently on some website I think born in 1979 Uk and I think both parents are musicians.

Yes, his parents are the famous folk musicians Richard and Linda. His sister Kami is also a musician. He was born in 1976.

jerseyrovcker61, his parents are Richard and Linda Thompson. His dad is an amazing guitarist (one of my favorites) and a former member of Fairport Convention, and his mom has quite a voice. They recorded several great folk albums together as "Richard and Linda Thompson" in the 70s. You should definitely check them out. They are more than worthy of the word "classics."
