  • I go to that school lol true my school sucks hell!!!there's always drama !!

  • @tiff12ful Get what you can out of it as your parents are paying for it through their taxes; until other academic options can be arranged...

  • I go to san jose edison academy.

Believe me it is the GAYEST MOST FUCKED UO SCHOOL EVER!!

    it suks ass

  • i go to this school

  • Big Wow!

  • Yeah! The Biggest Wow!

  • erm...i back up her cause, but that cartwheel needs some work, spose that why she got suspended...ironic really...

  • It was not about the cartwheel so much as it was her right to perform a cartwheel on a plot of land I paid for with my taxes and the nanny-state mindset of government schools...

  • yes, i know what you mean, and i support that completely.

  • History repeated itself in Australia last year. Virtually the same story of tyrants denying a child happiness. Kylie Bushgens is her name--I am sure you heard about it if I did here in the States...

  • what happened? i'm in the uk so i've heard nothing...

  • The story came to me because my daughter's story [which went around the world and was translated into foreign languages] was cited in the Australian episode which unfolded in an identical fashion.

My daughter and I were both interviewed for the Australian story last year and I read about it in one of your 'page three' tabloids so I know it was published there...

  • really? oh, i didn't/haven't heard anything...

  • Damn PC nannies ruin it for the rest of us. Now, games like Tag are banned because it would hurt someone's feelings.

  • haha yea thats her plan to take controll students and their parents....

  • are you allowed to teach if you dont have one or is that different in homeschooling

  • Homeschooling is legal in all 50 states but is being challenged in California's court system by Patton-like elites who are afraid of losing control of children and their parents...

  • kicked out or you didnt need it

  • I was 'shown the exit' but you are correct that except for the certification, it was a complete waste of my time and theirs...

  • so you are a cirticied teacher with a degree

  • For me, certification would not be worth the paper it is written on. I was kicked out of college and proud of it. I was smarter than they were and they didn't know what to do with me. You can read about it in my biography...

  • o really do you teach or a professional school teacher

  • I think it is obvious to anyone that 'professionalism' does not necessarily suggest competency. I am smarter than the 'professionals' and determine her curriculum...

  • homeschooled..... wow do you feel that is the same to public schooling

  • Prior to the imposition of government education circa 1834, education was in the home for the most part and a much safer environment for children to learn...

  • then why did you say that you make the decissions when other adults as well pay for schools also how is your child now being educated

  • I make the decisions on my daughters upbringing and education only. If other parents fail to stand up to similar abuse, unfortunately they are accomplices to arrogant, unconstitutional behavior. I have control only over my daughter who is homeschooled here in Nevada which is very friendly to alternative education...

  • o so doesnt everyone pay her salary

  • Yes. Even those without children in the system. Another tyranny of 'public education.'

"Free Education For All Children in Public Schools."

    ---Plank 10, The Communist Manifesto

  • how does she work for you

  • I pay her salary. I live in Nevada now but when I lived in California, her income originated from my wages which is directly deducted [unconstitutionally] and transferred to Sacramento where it funds the 'educational system of the state...'

  • so you threatend her wow..... thats a violation... i better go report it to the news... im sure the tribune would of been really interested in that

  • Patton works for me. I pay her salary and everything on that campus. If you perceived that discussion as a threat that is your own interpretation. Patton never used the term to me or anyone else that I am aware. But it is about time taxpayers begin to punish the education establishment with episodes such as this and take their money out of the system. It is a very poor return on equity...

  • i have a quick question did you take this to the district

  • I sat down with Patton and told her that if she did not like WHERE Deirdre was doing cartwheels, to find an area where she could. And I warned her that I had already told a reporter about this abuse of power and should she proceed with suspension, the Tribune was VERY interested in this story...

  • yea and it shocks me

  • It should abhor everyone who knows the real story. Tyrants must be destroyed and embarrassed and that is what Deirdre did...

  • "ROLE MODEL" i wouldnt say that why would someone want there child to be a trouble at school causing drama she was warned... and was ask to stop but kept going

  • Did you read the timeline above?

  • but its a rule its not too hard to follow.... they make rules for a reason....this rule is for her safety and others

  • From the timeline above-the facts could not be clearer. The administration was arrogantly intransigent and paid the price. We had asked for 'patch' and they refused. Translated into foreign language around the world; the civil disobedience from the paradigm of an eleven year-old. Deirdre is an extraordinary role model for all of us...

  • yea she should of stop she is lame and cant follow school rules

  • The 'rule' should not have been followed under any circumstance. And you can't construct, spell or punctuate a sentence in English...

  • omg thats gay and stupid im glad i dnt hav that teacher or i wud be suspended 2

  • to many big words

  • That principal is going to be kicked in the rear! Blah... I'm 19 and I do cartwheels too... in hallways and in small rooms... and everywhere! Deidre rocks:)

  • its not fair....what if someone playing basketball accidentaly aims the ball at someone's head or belly?! suspending the girl was wrong...

  • OMG...

these skools need to learn that

"so wht if she does a cartwheel i mean kids will fall down u cant prevent kids from getting hurt"

U CANT PROTECT KIDS FROM THIS STUFF...

    IT CALLED LIFE

  • i do cartwheels on the grass in a clear space that means i cant hert anyone

  • kids at my school do flips and stuff everyday. there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. if the kid gets hurt then its their fault. The principle of this grlk is really stupid!!!

  • let the kid have fun...that is her hobby and she should be able to have fun doing it!!!

  • Arbitrary authority should always be challenged even by children when adults misbehave. And she was rewarded for doing so...

"It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong."

    ~Voltaire

  • Creativity must be stifled whenever possible. This child must be enslaved to the principle's wishes. It is following mindless rules that made America great. (Seriously, though, she probably would have gotten off easier selling dope. This country is run by fools. Is it any wonder people don't respect authority?)

  • I could not have said it better and I sure wish there were more of you. Please check her web site and listen to her music and stay in touch...

    Leland

  • Obviously Public School educated. This outrageous, internationally decried apostacy of innocence was not about the cartwheel--it was the tyranny of proscription of a 'right of passage' for any child on property that is paid for by me, the taxpayer...

  • What level of gymnastics is this kid in?

  • shut up poilit1962. He has a right for that stupid principal, it was all a dumb thing and shoudn't of gone on tv. And don't call his girl an insubordinate child! Ur not the boss, if u don't like the video, than why don't u go tell ur mom.

  • Your spelling reveals your public school education...

  • Your irresponsibility as a parent to teach your daughter to respect authority is appalling to say the least. I agree 100% with the principle, your daughter could have gotten hurt let alone injure another student. Had an injury occurred your demeanor and tone would be different and you would be suing the school for incompetence. Teachers represent authority a parent away from home, no means no! Congratulations for adding yet another insubordinate child into our society!

  • Response Part One:

Here are the facts and this is the timeline:

    09/28

After picking up my daughter, she divulges that she was admonished for doing cartwheels on the playground at lunch. I considered the event anomalous and probably involving extenuating circumstances.

    09/29

After picking up my daughter, she explains that she was admonished once again and without leaving the campus, investigated by finding the instructor involved.

  • HEY I GO TO THIS SCHOOL AND I'LL TELL YOU THE REAL STORY:

She was doing cartwheels in THE HALLWAYS. The teachers said she COULD do cartwheels but out on the field so that it would'nt be a destractionn but she kept doing it cuz her dad told her to-that's why she got suspended.Plus you know how she said she'd be homeschooled, she actually CAME BACK for 2 more years! This whole thing was for her Dad to get publicity cuz he was running for something in the district.send me a message!

  • Response: Part Two

    09/30

My wife meets with and electronic mail correspondence sent to Patton

    10/25

Nearly a month later, she responds perfunctorily by electronic mail without offering any compromise. A phone call from Patton offers no compromise and I dutifully warn her that I have already alerted the media about this episode.

My daughter begins to receive detention time at lunch for her civil disobedience...

  • Response: Part Three

If Patton had Deirdre's interest at heart she would have found an area that accommodated her passion as any decent person would have if she was sincerely concerned about her safety and others as she claimed. But safety was only a distraction to her predilection towards pathological control of these government coercive, medication, indoctrination and incubation facilities that are known as public schools.

She came back for one year, not two...
