Steps to be freaking epic at guitar... Step (1) Sell your acoustic. (2) Buy an Electric and an amp. (3) learn powerchords...

Don't get me wrong, the only good thing about acoustics are.. They aren't complicated to fix (no electrical wires or pick ups.) and they are more old fashioned to the idea that you don't need an amp to play louder.

but on the other hand electrics can be modified, and sound sooo much better.

He only strums up that high to help viewers see more clearly. It keeps the focus (for the strum pattern AND the strings) right up in your face.

For some of the tougher songs he's done lessons on he'll strum normally for ease--it's all for us <3!
