Please give some help. I use the stanza and then file sharing. I transfer the books i want to, and then i open them in my iphone. The thing is that, that after i try to zoom since the text is small, i cannot turn the page after that. I can only zoom in and out but not change the page. I have to close the program and open it again.
Can you try to show the zoom thing also. Becasue it is either me that do not do it properly or there must be a problem with this option.
anything iphone isnt really meant to be "avid" its more of a "hey ive got 5minutes or hey ive got an hour free why dont i read a book or play a game or listen to music"
not "oh im going to use my phone to read this entire 10000000page book because i have some spare time"

Android's aldiko is better, you can change brightness etc directly on the app, you can even torrent off ebooks and import it to the device.

Are the books free? And if so is there a time limit to how long you can keep them?

The battery life for the iphone is crap..
Chances are slim of finishing a book before the damn thing dies on you when you're on the go!!
You would probably strain your eyes from reading from the small iphone screen too.
Get a kindle... way better for the avid reader.

Jailbreak the phone, install openssh, ssh into the phone, scp the file into the reader's default directory for books...
