You are a very ignorant person that looks at only the negative acts of the people that ruin that religions reputation. For instance, if the pope is rich, why call EVERY other Christian a selfish brute. And if a group of extremists decide to attack a national monument, "In the name of Islam", why call EVERY Muslim a terrorist. In conclusion, you and every other person that stereo-types need to stop generalizing a group of people only for what one person has wrongly done.
@slamt08 Does Christianity deny its members the use of most medications and psychiatric help? Does Islam have their followers pay them huge amounts of money, numbering from tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars, in "donations", every year? Has either made people kill or kill themselves, all related, and several in the same location? Do either have leaders who use the church tag to evade tax?
No, fuck you. Just because you're willing to let people like the upper management in scientology exist doesn't mean we will allow such filth to continue.
Neo nazi faggots? I dont think I could be a faggot cause I screwed ur mom last night u fuckin idiot. I think they should put u in a labor camp and show u some goddamn truth. We are Anonymous/
My hat goes off to the men and women that create the body of Anonymous. My hope and dream is that Anonymous effectively displays the wrong doings of Scientology and reveals the very inner workings that the leaders of Scientology do not want you to see.
It's the same way with scientology. anonymous is not the group to speak out against them. and also not the most effective (sorry to busrt the bubble of all you "epic winners") but this little cult isn't going to bring down scientology.
yes, jesus was there too...and i'm sure the whole scientology thing makes him sad to say the least. but i'm so glad for anonymous..keep up the good work!
My point is, if anonymous is all for the people doing what they please, then why do they TRY to attack scientology? The way I see it, if someone wants to do/believe in something, let them. I also don't like those truth adds. (non-smoker) but at least they are protesting something that physically harms people. BTW their protests have a MUCH bigger impact than those of anonymous.
no offense but tobacco protest have gotten to the point where its moronic. if you don't know what they are saying by now and you still smoke well im pretty sure you are going to continue. the stupid shit they do just makes you glad you don't. and well cos is a scam they seem to want to draw attention to at least they did something
"The way I see it, if someone want to do/believe in something, let them."
Killing people is illegal. You'd let them?
Anonymous has no problem with the beliefs of Scientologists. They do, however, have a problem with them killing other people who disagree or change their mind about being a Scientologist.
They said that at LEAST 5 times in this video. Listen to what they say before you judge them.
Employees are treated bad at mcdonalds. Why don't they go protest the micky d corporation? Are the anonymous members being affected by scientology? NO they just think they are destroying something that doesn't even matter to 98% of people. And they aren't even destroying it.
So your point is, since other things are bad one should either do something about all or none? Do you just sit on the carpet sobbing when you find something wrong in the world or do you just stop up your ears and ignore?
Others prefer to try and do something about it.
If you think Co$ is all sweetness and light I'd check out xenu dot net or wiki
Is it ironic that anonymous believes in freedom of speech, yet doesn't want scientology in our world? There are many other things in which people are harmed from, why not attack them? who are they to say what should exist or not? These people and their followers have obviously been watching too much of v for vendetta. Dumb ass people need to find a hobby.
Somewhat inclined to agree in a way. I dislike Scientology, and I followed the protests from the start (ie, from before the DDOS attacks). I think protesting for freedom of speech and using such attacks is hypocritical in the least... but I do support the protests outside the Scientology centres. As was said, its not the beliefs that people are angry about, its the way Scientology conducts itsself and treats some of its members.
Actually no - make the suppression of free speech point against anonymous once they have hired PIs to follow reporters (John Sweeney), made a concerted attempt to drive a critical journalist into a mental institution (Paulette Cooper - Operation Freakout) or brought libel suits against fair criticism (Time Magazine - Thriving Cult of Greed and Power, Co$ sued and lost).
Anonymous are our modern day heroes. This protest was well executed. Whats shameful is that no one from the scientology churches had the balls to come out and talk things over.
Because the business of Scientology is classified as "a church", it's in a position to receive tax benefits and in some cases federal funding. There are many cults of people that would be denied a church status for instance and I think Anonymous calls into question the legitimacy of the Scientologists activity. The problem of course is that everyone's tax dollars inevitably then go to supporting Scientology so its not unreasonable for anyone to be interested. - Andrew
Google/Youtube Lisa McPherson. I'll tell you a little about her. She was a Scientologist. She paid A LOT of money for "courses" in Scientology, and she was in an accident. She was in an accident, and was mentally sick. The Scientologists locked her up for 17 days, and when she was taken to a Hospital (they took her to the one with a scientologist doctor), she was dead. She had been starved, dehydrated, abused and had bruises and bites from cockroaches.
okay soo idk about scientology not gonna lie and in no way do i support it. but i think that the people who are protesting ahve to be anonymous.. why cant they just show who they are i think thats quite cowardly. if you want to protest something atlest show your face damn.
One of Anonymous' complaints against the Church of Scientology is that they take photos of protestors and use harrassment tactics against them; following them, calling them and their relatives at home, etc. They wear masks to protect themselves.

I don't understand scientology, but I don't really care... this just looks like a bunch of trouble-making protests - with no real point other than to annoy people.
It's very interesting to watch the campaign unfold, but it's also difficult to predict what the consequences will be: to some extent the protests seem to be more successful in unifying local subversives than undermining the Church of Scientology. I also find it interesting how the "tone" of the original anonymous video content is so much more mysterious and menacing then the gregarious pranksters that are showing up in person... the juxtaposition is somewhat comical.
