I agree with your comment about Elvis never touring Europe. According to the latest book I have about Elvis; when Elvis passed away; he had two goals. (1) Tour Europe (2) Make a tribute album of Platters' songs. I personally talked to Charlie Hodge multiple times before Charlie passed away and Charlie NEVER mentioned Elvis pursued the two goals stated above. Thank you for listening.
@madmike180250: Charlie passed away in March 2006. What a fine Gentleman AND true Friend to Elvis. Charlie was always a sheer delight to talk to and was not hesitant to share with you his POSITIVE memories of touring with Elvis. I am so thankful I purchased Charlie's book titled "Me'n Elvis". Excellent book with only POSITIVE comments about Elvis.
