i'm friends with these guys. the singer/guitarist grew up about 5 minutes from here, iv'e know him for almost 20 years. oblivion beckons is the greatest album of this genre ever imo. just to damn bad it's the last one. seriously bums me out.

Byzantine is fronted by Chris like pointed out by whitmancreeker. Randy was just making a drunkin improve like he tends to do :). Byzantine is the best band out of West Virgina. They are signed to Prosthetic records like Lamb Of God and it was the drummer of LOG that got them signed. Look them up if you like thrash

thats pretty sweet, that randy (vocalist of a much more famous band Lamb of God) would do vocals for this band. just recently got into byzantine, and i have to say their original vocalists voice sounds pretty different.
