what i don't understand is how the age of the fossils being hundreds of millions of years old if FACT? where did those dates come from? i mean, try using Carbon-14 dating...that only can measure up to 50,000 years. And besides, measure with that method and it shows that the fossils are younger than 50,000 years! And besides, measure with that method and it shows that the fossils are younger than 50,000 years! Nobody knows for sure when one creature was extinct from another. It's all theory (theory being, not known for sure). And the idea of a relation between birds and dinosaurs came from someone looking at a few indents in one bone, saying, "That looks like where feathers might go", and boom, the idea is popular.

It seams a recent (2004) hypothesis suggests that the Parathyroid gland has developed in tetrapods (I'm including us) from what use to be part of the gills.
If this is confirmed by molecular biology then a tetrapod born with gills would be at a serious disadvantage in the struggle to pass on it's genes.
After 400MY that would make gills extremely rare even as atavism in fully developed tetrapods.

@Squiglypig THAT'S IT? Hyracotherium Orohippus, and Epihippus are varieties of the same kind of animal, much like the variety among cat and dogs. They both have 4 toes on their front feet & 3 toes on the back as well as many other similarities that show them to be the same kind of animal. Did you know the three-toed Neohipparion lived beside, at the same time, as the one-toed Pliohippus?
Equus and Hyracotherium co-existed since they are often found together in the same rock layers.

@mkmason2002 It would appear that you deliberately put in mistakes there, because so many mistakes could hardly be done on purpose.
Firstly, the Equus is the modern horse while the Hyracotherium is the oldest known ancestor to the horse, they were millions of years apart and the last Hyracotherium died at least 20 million years before the first Equus appeared.
Since when was it against evolution that several branches with a common ancestor lived side by side?

Both species have/had 2 hands and 2 feet with 5 fingers and toes each.
All it means is that they most likely share a common ancestor, no matter how far back it is.

Neanderthal WAS NEVER AN APE SPECIES it was just as human as we. His stooped appearance was because of arthritis & rickets. Neanderthals are now recognized as skilled hunters, believers in an after-life, & even skilled surgeons, as seen in one skeleton whose withered right arm had been amputated above the elbow. (source: "Upgrading Neanderthal Man", Time Magazine, May 17, 1971, Vol. 97, No. 20) There is no evidence that they were ever anything than human.

Although God can't be proven, it seems the most logical explanation for the oceans, animals, plant life, fishes, planets, stars, natural laws & mankind.
