I was wondering if you can upload the stereo version of "The Words". There is a mono version posted up here and I was wondering if someone can post the stereo version. Thanks in advance!
I don't have either version of that song at the moment, but I will add it if it becomes available. it sounds like it might be a b-side to a hit song from that title you gave me?...Friends, Lloyd.
wow my best friend and i used to play the flip sides of 45s when we got tired of them -when we first played this we never listened to red rubber ball again-it became our favorite song-i always wanted to hear it again-now i will play it all the time again-thanks
@lrh1966 I've been listening to this song repeatedly - can't get enough of it. I think it's truly their best tune. I've shared it with lots of others who agree with my sentiments, too. Thanks, again. The sound is superior, too. You're pretty good at this.
Thank you for the great compliments. The 45 record is in near mint condition on both sides. The hit side, "Red Rubber Ball" is also posted in my videos...Friends, Lloyd.
@lrh1966 Thank God for people like you. There's another great oldie I'm dying to find, "Say It Softly" which was recorded by Bobby Whiteside - a well-respected producer in Chicago. Sadly, it has never been released on CD. It reached #11 on the WLS Silver Dollar Survey in 1965. HELP!
Thank you again for kind words. I don't have anything by Bobby Whiteside at the moment, but if I find some records by him, they will get posted. I do have another group from Chicago posted on here, they were called "The Flock", and they made records from about 1966 to around 1971...Friends, Lloyd.
@lrh1966 I remember that band, particularly a song called "Take Me Back." I'll have to check out what you have. The 60s was the greatest era, musically speaking. Check out Orpheus' "Can't Find the Time" & Jefferson's "Baby Take Me In Your Arms." I'm going to keep my "ears" on you....Candy
Yes it was!! Today it seems like all you hear coming out of cars going down the road is BOOM, BOOM sounds they call modern music today!!...Friends, Lloyd.
@lrh1966 Sad but true. It's more like just plain, old noise to me. Give me a good melody & some harmony & I'm happy. That's what I call music. Keep up the good work....Candy
