  • check out my cover of this song on my page! :)

  • Nice!

  • I like it.

It's nice to get outta the shackles of the sheet music.

  • Beautiful rendition......."APPLAUSE".....

  • dude uum i just finished learning this song and i have a teacher who teacches it and it is way faster than that~!!!!!!

  • Jenny - this is a jazz interpretation. The idea is not to play the original arrangement - rather to take the original harmony and melody and improvise an arrangement on the spot.

    Doug

  • That was great!

  • Genius!

  • hey nice job.

  • My teacher is better ... I've taken him 1 arabesque of debussy and I couldn't move my eyes to the piano.. it was so beatiful ... but you're also good!!

  • I love your sound man!! you are very musical! good work!!

  • She's a woman. Not a man. :-)

  • No.1 Improvisation!

  • which keyboard is this? Doesn't sound half bad vs piano compared to other keyboards i tried.

  • Beautiful. It would be fun to organise concerts with local pianists invited to improvise around 2 or 3 classical pieces announced beforehand.Especially by Chopin.

  • Refreshing. No need to apologise to purists; they wouldn't accept it anyway Doug. Django impovised the Classics, and a lot of standards are based on Classical themes. 'All the things you are' for one!

  • thank you so much for this info...!

  • Man you are great. Please write a book !

  • I've never played Chopin in this way :)

    Good job!

  • Wow impressive stuff and stunning melodic ideas. Trully inspiring. You've reached the place I want to be with piano. You can still play in the classical style as well as jazz. ^_^

  • hey nice job.

    really enjoy it

  • Cool!

  • This is such a great way of showing your ideas in real time! I am a subscriber to your videos now, and I am going to recommend your stuff to my students! Well done!

PS I am the keyboard player for Bach to the Future, and some of our videos are on youtube as well. They are jazz-fusion arrangements of the music of Bach.
