always hated this story. the drawn out observation on suffering seems just ridiculous to me. the story's only purpose is to convey misery. your adaptation is interesting, i do like the camera work, was this a school project?

It's the orchestral version of Yann Tiersen's "La Valse d'Amelie" from the movie Amelie, which happens to be awesome!
Anything Yann Tiersen does will probably be amazing.

Young Ethan Frome didn't have a limp yet because he had yet to attempt double suicide into a big elm. 52 year old Ethan was the limper.
