btw, i fucking love this game, but i mostly prefer the first one, the story is a lot darker than 3 and bound.

@guysafariX EB0, in my opinion, is the darkest Mother of them all, mostly because of the atmosphere some locations have, and the graphics have that kind sick of feeling, which increases more by the Mt. Itoi section.

and, the game doesnt tell a lot of the story, you pretty much have to read the Mother encyclopedia, which gives this sort of mystery feel to it, makes you want to know more about the characters, and when you get in the cemetery/mansion/mt itoi you really feel that is darker than M3.

@aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa Dude... Lucas's mom gets killed by a giant mecha dinosaur. When they're 9 years old no less. I do like the sound of an unsettling atmosphere though. So far, I could only make it to the Starman Jr before I quit and my emulator decides to erase my progress.

@guysafari yes, lucas's mom gets killed, but there are jokes to light all up, in EB0, there are barely any funny moments, and weirdeness that we see in later games.

yeah, i know this kind of problem, my emulator doesnt save the progress, i had to download Mother 1+2 to actually play it without losting all of my data.

It's a RPG title for the SNES? Might as well add that one with Chrono Trigger to the list of ones I wanna play, wish they'd release this stuff on PSN or something, I'd gladly pay for it to support the devs.

@aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa PSN = a service I have easy access to, it was just an example, not something plausible by any means, I just want it on some digital streaming service so I can play it on the platforms I have available, which are the PC and the PS3, I don't want any emulator because I wanna PAY for it, I doubt getting a SNES cartridge is any viable way or easy, especially when I'd need the console or an expensive adapter to come along.

@JukaDominator It's not too bad. I never met the requirements to be taxed. I had a job for 2 weeks and another for like 4 days (finished them). I didn't have the jobs long enough to be taxed and I didn't make enough. Income really has a lot to do with it. I know a guy who makes an average living and has to pay about 1/4 of his income in taxes though. I dislike the entire concept. I believe we own the sweat of our brows.
