  • Geliebt zu werden von der Frau die man liebt ist das schönste was man sich vorstellen kann...

für meine Lisa am 28. Mai 2011

  • His voice is so smooothe, it is like no other voice and it soothes one's soul when you hear him. His voice is love I swear, it just pours out from his soul through his mouth. JT is an American treasure..to be sure.

  • Smooth and effortless voice

  • @ThePetrohaulic Have to put JT in second place in that department . Most effortless voice of all time IMO hands down was Perry Como. Smoothest was Nat Cole.

  • @Alikah1 Touchet for sure!....Dean Martin another effortless.

  • @ThePetrohaulic Of course Dino had an advantage: he kept his pipes well lubricated!

  • where is this looks like stockholm

  • @mojokiss It was taped at Blossom Music Center, Akron, OH

  • I'm a teenager and I listen to a bit of current pop... but I know that this can't be topped. :)

  • Love this song. I used to listen to this song on my way to preschool as a baby. im 18 now

  • Remid me please! Catarac next week -pls - x

  • great, great music... too bad he has to do "Arenas" on his tour. He's in town next week. $ 85 for seats in the nose bleed sections up to $ 300 on the floor. The first I don't want, the second, I can't afford.

Wish that these great artists with money to burn would do accessible, affordable venues...

Until then, it's Youtube for me.... ;-(

  • What a time gone by...when JT shows were still like hockey games!

  • Listening to music like this and then comparing it to the new junk, I think I must have been born into the wrong time period and generation by mistake. o.O

  • :)

  • "MY PARENTS LISTEN TO THAT!"

so what bitch its better than lil wayne!!

    REAL MUSIC

  • very, very, very talented musician, Mr. Taylor!!!

  • he is very talented, old school or not

  • who is the sociopath who (1) dislikes? this is a DANGEROUS individual!

  • Lee Sklar and Russ Kunkel own that rhythm section sound!!!

  • James ...man he is sooooooo goooood .....even today the guy is just so brilliant ...GOD BLESS HIM

  • Love the way James and the band do this classic Marvin Gaye tune!

  • its was a great time the seventhies

    thumbs up

  • Who cares if the high is a drug high, alcohol, marijuana, or even the music? Who cares that there is any 'high' at all? Let's just listen to the music.

  • 135 wasn't stopped and thanked

  • Guapoooo

  • Killer Line-Up...Waddy Wachtel used to jam on Mon nites at a little club right around the corner from me on Pico Blvd In L.A....Keith Richards came in one night too...not bad for a little neighborhood bar...you can't get that in small town USA

  • Such a very simple song that runs powerful when you keep on loving the song and it's simple lyrics and melody..What makes it powerful aside from a JT song?? Another drugless high... the lyrics just fit in to the melody and that is a genius or a stroke of coincidence..

  • @bernbsporty

Drugless highs are the best highs.

  • @DocFrezz Sounds nice and all, but without condoning drug use, I just want to point out that your statement is blatantly false.

  • This crowd is great.

  • does anyone know if it is david sanborn on sax?

  • Awesome music, awesome time. Where have all these great singers, songwriters, and just overall great music gone? It's time we get some of this back. Today's music is mainly a joke.

  • @JAKRICK1967 It's gone because of some grumpy old white men who hated and still hate us for our diminishing freedoms, I'm afraid.

  • A handsome man with an awesome, beautiful voice and great songs! Great guitar player too!

  • it doesnt get any better or classier than Mr. Taylor

  • is that leeland sklaar on bass instead of robben ford?

  • This is when there was REAL MUSIC!!! James Taylor!!! "THE MAN"

  • I commend you younger folks for finding the music of the 70's and 80's exciting. My daughter is 16 and she loves the song of my days too.

  • effortless performance!

  • WOW, now this is music. WHy do I feel the urge to get emotional when I hear such such tunes. Maybe it reminds me of my childhood, the innocence of youth and a time where we were not so polarized in our thinking.

  • @x001m69 definitely the innocence, whic his bein taken away by the trashy music now...im a teen, and i love old music, because of how pure it is...how true it is....

  • @classicdizzy calm down hipster

  • @FwibbleFwabble listen to the lyrics of songs bucko!!

  • @classicdizzy

and we wonder why our crime rates are so high...

  • @classicdizzy Good on you! Keep chasing that purity and truth, not just in music.

  • @classicdizzy congratufuckinglations, another 15 year old who think its a fucking miracle that they like a certain type of music. woopiefuckingdoo.

  • Wow!! what a legendary lineup!!

  • Las LEYENDAS existen y James Taylor es una de ellas y para nuestra suerte aun podemos disfrutar de el es GENIAL y sus directos hoy en dia tienen la frescura de este aunque hallan pasado 30 años

  • Love this song, I never get tired of listening to it, James is one of the best. I was living in Florida when I first heard this, ahhhh, brings back great memories.

  • Leland Sklar and Sanborn look and sound the same as they did 31 yrs. ago...amazing. Oh, and JT as well :)

  • My wife and I saw James (with Carol King, who we didn't know until we heard her sing all those phenomenal songs) in Hawaii, spring 1970. We're still together. So's James. One of the greats, personally and artistically. Sweet Baby james, indeed.
