i do my eyeliner like this every single day but after like an hour it's either all gone or smudged all over. what gives? how do i make it stay?

First, use eye primer. I use Urban Decay's eye prime, and it works well. Then, apply eyeshadow over the eyeliner for a staying effect that wont smudge.

Yep, I don't apply eye shadow without an eye primer. Urban Decay's is good but I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Foundation works good for some people as well.

nice video but when i put mine on my water line it just goes on my skin under the waterline it NEVER goes on the waterline no matter how much i try can you help?

Sounds like you need a waterproof liner. Urban Decay's are the best. What are you using?

Thanks! Earrings are my favorite jewelry. I can't go anywhere without them either. The funkier, the better. I usually get mine on streets of NYC.

Hey,babe! When i put eyeliner on my waterline...my eyes itch and it basically ends up coming off. Do you have an tips or tricks.

Sounds like you may have an allergy. OR....perhaps you're using a pencil...which tend to irritate the eyes. Try a retractable liner. If you are still running into issues, you can still get the same look applying liner UNDER the waterline. Let me know how it works. :)

I have this issue too. But liner on my my top eye is fine. Most of the time my shadow & liner fade so I guess I need a primer. Are there some that aren't expensive? Thanks for the tips.

Most primers are close in the $20 range. I recommend investing in a good one even if it is prciey, it will last you forever!

No, not at all. The thicker the line the smaller your eyes tend to appear. Try a thinner line. Let me know how it works!

You may be using a not so hot eyeliner. Try purchasing one that can stay on the waterline. I recommend Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliners. They are GREAT...last all day. Styli-Style, a drugstore brand, also makes great eyeliners that can stick to the waterline a little better.

It always amazes me that people really don't know how to put on eyeliner. :-) I guess I have been wearing it so long...it's just like putting on my clothes. I wear liquid on top and pencil on the bottom. I love the color you used in the video.

Yeah, it's one of those things that a lot of us take for granted that A LOT of people just never learned how to do or perfect. I love love loooove liquid but I still have issues applying it on my lower lash line.
