Good vid.. Are first time ever attempting this boss we talked about this and talked about this part.. went over a rotation and everything. But the first person to die had UI problems and it wouldnt let them use any of the spells. and they just ran through the raid. we just healed through it. by the end we had about 12 running through the raid and we still one shotted him. so though its still a good thing to have the host from down.. as long as you have good heals i wouldnt worry too much

With bongos2 it put the abilities onto the pet bar instead of the 1st action bar. Bongos3 corrected this so it should always be your 1st action bar unless your using an addon that would change that.

I've played the flash game quite a few times, and usually kill them before they reach half-way.. Just wondering, how much more difficult is it in real-time, in the raid? Do they move faster/more erratically etc? Does LoS from the center thing play a role at all if they get that far?

I have no idea, to be honest. I've never even played the flash game. It didn't exist when we were learning Teron XD

its a little different in the game. You have more freedom of movement in WoW, but yes basically the flash teaches you the habit of lancing each construct.

Killing them is easy. I didn't even play the flash game the first time I got constructs. They were dead before the bottom of the stairs. In my opinion you'd have to be completely retarded to let even 1 into the raid. But this video is really handy and pretty much all you need to do well.

Ghost fight is pretty much the only thing that can ruin the fight, the dispelling is easy, other than that its just to keep tank alive, there's a flash game that is like 10 times harder then the real fight. train on that , if u can do that this shud not be a problem, and if ur good u can start with the aoe then chain then 2-3 lance each mob in a clockwise. but i suggest you do like this guy the first time, : P easy fight

You are actually making a tiny mistake. :) With the goal of keeping them together so they all get frosted/aoe'd: After frosting them, it is a better idea to lance the 2 who are behind first, so they catch up with the 2 in front.

The approach I'm showing here isn't a mistake. It's aimed at new players, not experienced Teron players. :)

The main point to get across to people new to the fight is: Do. Not. Let. Ghosts. Reach. The. Raid.

And the easiest/safest way to have them do that is to have them focus Spirit Lance on the front ghosts at all times. If the player is slow or having a hard time, those back ones you are referring to will catch up anyway.

As long as the front ones are snared, they won't reach the raid.

This is because the Spirit Lance does a lot of damage itself. This is also why the AOE isn't necessary whatsoever, and we asked our players that were struggling just to ignore the AOE (Spirit Volley) in favor of focusing on Spirit Lance and Spirit Chains.

If players make an error, I would like to see it being in favor of snaring/freezing the front ones and missing the back ones for the time being. They can snare them later as they catch up and become the new front ones. :)

I made this video when Teron was a "new" boss, so please check the release date of my videos before flaming me regarding more-modern strategies :)

As with any boss, people get better at them over time, and rarely are they killed the same way today as they were originally.

Still, this is an easy and safe way to kill the ghosts, so my video is still beneficial and pertinent. :)

No you don't, as is clearly evidenced by my video :) You don't have to use volley at all, in fact, to have the constructs dead way before they get to the raid.

I talked about this in earlier comments, but you can volley and then chains after you get better at doing this. For new people, though, it's absolutely safest if they use Spirit Chains first to get all 4 of their constructs frozen in place, then snare them all, THEN use volley after they're all snared (if they want to).

Well, I'm moving the mouse with my right hand (obviously) and using my left hand to move and shoot (that is to say: I don't click on anything but my targets. Clicking on the pet bar is too slow!) The spells are instant cast and I have a special Ghost Bar set up(bar 2) with the following macros:

/cast Spirit Lance

/cast Spirit Chains

/cast Spirit Volley

I just put those in bar spots 2, 3, and 4, and then I hit them as necessary while moving, just like playing a frost mage ;)

We just spent an entire night failing at the Ghosts. They kept getting into the raid and killing healers. People were trying to AOE + CHAIN + Spam kill a single target.

I hope people learn from this, and if soo i owe you a few gold in repairs ;)

It doesn't really matter what order you do it in, but mine is the best for people still learning the fight. It's better to chain and snare right away to make sure nothing makes it to the raid.
