Lazy society is correct. i can tell such a difference from when I used the train and walked everyday to now driving everyday. I was so much more fit before. I try to do as many things as manually as possible. Even to do yard work - I try only to use manual tools.. but when I go to the store the people look at me like I'm crazy for not wanting power tools. I tell them "why should I spend money to go to the gym?" when I have all types of things I can do.
