@1998CADU You need a painting program. My advice is use GraphicsGale or some similar software that is particularly developed to aid pixel artists. For a start you might even use some very basic program like MS Paint or the equivalents for other OSs. If you want some fancy huge backgrounds than you might consider GIMP or similar (I'm not a fan of expensive tools like Photoshop but if you have it and are used to it, than use it instead (although it's too 'heavy' if you want to draw pixel art)).

what i need to know is how do you make it where for example you click on a locker to open it and it openns andthen you click it again to shut? all i can get it to do following the tutorial that comes with it is make it open and then immediatley close

You have to do this using objects. I'll be creating a video about that soon.

Im not at the moment. I did start looking into it. But got a bit side tracked with making my own videos! (Check them out if you have time)

But I do want to make a game soon, its just finding the time really! I might make a Leisure Suit Larry game?? Or just start one of my own not sure yet? The backgrounds are always a big let down for me as they never look very good!

I know what you mean (about getting sidetracked). I kinda started making a KQ-like game, but was never satisfied with how it was turning out.

It's nice to see that people are still active with programs like this though. Some of my favorite games are fan-mades from the AGS site.

Heh, that was 5 years ago. I got into a new field, learned 2 or 3 new programming languages, and AGS has changed a LOT since I used version 2.5 or whatever it was at the time. :-P
