they changed it so that you would have to find the secret items that include the ice key, secret eggs for stop n swop so if u were to buy banjo kazooie nuts and bolts u would have those stop n swop items for ur vehicles so anyways i dont have xbox live so i cant have those stop n swop items
I don't think they did sell the rights, Rareware owned the rights and Microsoft bought Rareware...and all their licences... other than the ones truly owned by Nintendo, such as Donkey and Diddy Kong, of course.
Why is this on xbla and not on the wii vc, nintendo just seems to be getting lazy with it, it was meant to be updated like every week or so, now your lucky to get a new game each month, and don't say just get an emulator.

i get where people are going with the game being related to mario...... i dont think so, for instance, the thing in mario games(today) are like this.... you collect stars to unlock new areas.... in banjo, you collect jiggies... in zelda you collect medallions/stones.... in metroid you collect guns..... in almost every game you must collect something to continue... so in a way, every action/adventure game is the same, not just mario.....
@ajko000 for instance, in mario you select the star you want to get, and all of that and what not... with banjo it is more universal, you can usually do whatever you want, when you want... mario is more restricted.... granted i am being biased, as most mario games now are kind of crap... but still, i like every mario game up to GC.. thats it... and i mean the originals, not the tennis/soccer bull shit... long-story short, i dont really like mario anymore.. and ive always loved banjo... Although Nintendo had little involvement in the creation of this game, Perfect Dark, and Goldeneye, most people will remember Nintendo for cooperating with Rare in the creation of these games and having the hospitality to feature it on their system, so, essentially, Microsoft is more or less guilty of stealing, yes, stealing. The items in question? Several games worth of nostalgia, classic memories, and a fraction of Nintendo's older fan-base. My opinion is subject to biasness as well as others.

Banjo Kazooie released June 30 1998. Donkey Kong 64 released November 22 1999. So calling it a cross between mario 64 and a game that wasn't even out yet, is a bit silly.

I need help knowing why I keep getting disconnected from XBOX Live while I'm in the middle of playing the game for no reason I mean can anyone tell me why I keep getting signed out for no reason at all? I mean what's the problem? I mean I couldn't care less about the leaderboards but then again i do like seeing when I complete an an achivement though I only care about having fun but still I hate being signed out turning the console off signing back in only to be signed out again.

It's no longer secret. The Ice Key requires to cheatcode to unlock, but thte eggs stop you saving. The eggs can be used for BK: N & B, but they don't relly do much other than that, since you can't save them.
you know you can get the ice key without the cheats just finish the game with 100 jiggies, or go back to where you went to fight grunty when you do get them.
That's weird how they did not remove the Gameboy... I mean, they could have given Banjo the 360 controller and the original Xbox controller, but I'm guessing that'd be hard to do.. maybe? Let's not forget MS did not put their hands on the game, the DEVELOPER did....
I owe both the xbox 360 and the wii but because I wanted to play the real banjo & kazooie i spend about an hour to find my old n64 rather then downloading it.
It just feels so lame downloading a nintendo classic that was one of my favourite games from xbox arcade where they don't even show the original cover.
They should have atleast kept a few references to Nintendo, they worked on the game more than Microsoft. All I believe Microsoft did was take every reference, and add 12 achievements, which ,most are finished without looking at them by the time you defeat grunty.
We all here know Nintendo doesn't sue. They never have in their 200 years existance. And if they did, it would be for other reasons. If Nintendo were to sue Microsoft, there's more of a chance of sueing for avatars than references, as references give Nintendo the credit they deserve, and free advertisement.
What's to lose, they're the richest company in the world. But know Microsoft they removed every reference (xcept the gameboy) just so that they can have the credit. That's what they've been doing the past 50 years.

*Continued* In fact back when I first played Kazooie and Tooie on the N64 I always got the feeling as if I was playing a good golden age Nickelodeon cartoon (or back then you could just say Nickelodeon cartoon since the network hadn't become the suckfest it is today) why a Nickelodeon cartoon specifically well it's just everything in Banjo-Kazooie from it's plot to to it's quirlkyness, to it's dialouge, to it's humor (inculding the gross ones) to even it's graphics seemed *2bcont.*

I need help knowing why I keep getting disconnected from XBOX Live while I'm in the middle of playing the game for no reason I mean can anyone tell me why I keep getting signed out for no reason at all? I mean what's the problem? I mean I couldn't care less about the leaderboards but then again i do like seeing when I complete an an achivement though I only care about having fun but still I hate being signed out turning the console off signing back in only to be signed out again.

One of the best games ever on the nintendo 64... how i loved that game... they screwed up rareware with the new banjo kazooie... but what can we do, what is done is done... i guess we all have to send letters and wait for the next banjo game to come out... hope is more like the original ones

It's no longer secret. The Ice Key requires to cheatcode to unlock, but thte eggs stop you saving. The eggs can be used for BK: N & B, but they don't relly do much other than that, since you can't save them.

you know you can get the ice key without the cheats just finish the game with 100 jiggies, or go back to where you went to fight grunty when you do get them.

You can still get all the eggs and save.
Just type all the codes in, and next time you play the areas will be unlocked.
Dunno why, but on my game the ice key was already possible to get.

I owe both the xbox 360 and the wii but because I wanted to play the real banjo & kazooie i spend about an hour to find my old n64 rather then downloading it.
It just feels so lame downloading a nintendo classic that was one of my favourite games from xbox arcade where they don't even show the original cover.

They should have atleast kept a few references to Nintendo, they worked on the game more than Microsoft. All I believe Microsoft did was take every reference, and add 12 achievements, which ,most are finished without looking at them by the time you defeat grunty.

We all here know Nintendo doesn't sue. They never have in their 200 years existance. And if they did, it would be for other reasons. If Nintendo were to sue Microsoft, there's more of a chance of sueing for avatars than references, as references give Nintendo the credit they deserve, and free advertisement.
