  • Pete Noon is Justin Beibers Dad!! Have a look?

  • Just loved Hermans Hermits.....their music was always uplifting and feel good music....nice melody, nice lyrics and you could hear what they were singing about.....wonderful :) xx Rozanne

  • this is really mediocre and generic :I

  • 'i' of mathematics imaginary number i i i i .

  • WORST BAND of the 1960s that was the dammed Beatles I AGREE with you 1m2.

BEST BANDS of the 1960s = HERMANS HERMITS and THE TREMELOES ++++

  • @BALLADS1 I wouldn't say that the Beatles were the "worst" band, but I think they were definitely overrated... They were good, but there were other bands such as Herman's Hermits, the Tremeloes, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, and others that were just as good as the Beatles.

  • @yournewluver Laaaaaaaugh!!!! Man you crack me up! I suppose you think Canon and Ball are funny!

  • The Beatles RULE!!

  • @toffeetigerkimba ?????????????

  • Why the question marks? lol!

  • Worst band of the sixties?

  • He was a likeable fellow

  • nice vid, those haircuts are coming back, supplemented by a big wooly hat on a hot summers day.

  • I always wait, that they will wreck their equipment...

    like The Who... for example..

  • @Blecksberger Actually I think I read they really did wreck their hotel room or threw something out their hotel window when they toured with the Who.

  • Peter Noone, in his best...Great HERMAN!

  • Nice Video... I like it :}

  • things that i love about this video:

    1. the cute tune :3

    2. how they're all singing and smiling :)

    3.and peter noone xD

  • Ez volt a kedvencem gimis koromban, de még most is nagyon tetszik! :)

  • Why was i born to late !!!! I love him xxx

  • Oh! Peter was 20!

  • Pause at the very end lol.

  • I have always liked the Hermits. While having few original tunes

their sound always put me in a good mood.

  • en france cela donne les petits pains au chocolat de joe dassin

  • He looks like he needs to pee! XD

  • Superb!

  • Well, good for her! I just hope that he's treated her well and been a good husband to her. After all, she too could've had anybody she wanted. I'm sure she must've had plenty of men who were dying to hook up with her. And thanks for you info. about the magazine articles. I'll be sure to look those up.

  • HERMANS HERMITS were an all time great group in the 1960s this is their best one.

  • This is Luglio by Riccardo Del Turco.

  • hey! I saw this clip from "sounds of sixties" very very good music! :D

  • i always laugh my ass off, cause every hh videro i see, i always think that's a young john lennon on guitar ...

  • I do prefer herman's hermits... I don't know why, but actually I think they have something different... ok I can't explain. A year ago I didn't know them, but I recently fell in luv by their songs, yeeeey XD

  • ProudKansan08 > wow thanks'' for all that info; i was only 7 then) and just now myself dicovered this music since i went on YOUTUBE

LOVE this oldies;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;we call (telly) TV in CANADA

  • YES he DO LOOK LIKE JUSTIN ( only this guy is much better singer; and cuter

  • @purselady2, I don't know if you knew this, because I didn't until just recently, but the lead singer, Peter, was about 16 or maybe younger when the group started.I was too busy playing outside until dark, so never watched the telly to see these groups performing, and I never knew what they looked like until much later on in life.I saw Peter back in the 70's on some show and I couldn't believe how young he was, because all the other people I saw from the 60's always looked older. Now I know why

  • I like very much this italian song LUGLIO (Riccardo Del Turco) in english version.

  • Peter had such a cute smile and a twinkle in his eye thats why he was so popular, plus the music was great

  • peter noone looks like the 1960's justin Beiber..

  • Luglio in English. Fausto Leali in versione sfinfiricchia, molto camp

  • One of the most perfect records ever made! It's always a real pleasure to see the late, great Derek Leckenby (lead guitar) again. Tragically, he passed away in 1994, after three decades with the band. He is greatly, greatly missed.

  • @MikeBlitzMag Good call on Derek Leckenby, Mike. The Hermits were my first favorite band and I also revered Derek "Lek" Leckenby ... especially since I loved the guitar (have been playing for about 30 years now) but my birth name is "Lek."

  • This must have been after he got his teeth fixed......another great sixties hit!!

  • Quanta saudade desse tempo maravilhoso que não volta mais....amo vocês!!!

  • I cant believe someone preserved such great video footage - I also found a 60's set that seems really cool - it has Dusty Springfield, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Herman's Hermits and Small Faces - reelinintheyears(dot)com/britishinvasion

  • @carolturner11ct Ahhhhhh, Dusty...what more can you say? And that whole lot of the British Invasion....what a great great time to be a kid and what great great music.

  • @carolturner11ct Wunderbarer Ponyhof :-)

  • Nothing happens to me!

  • Peter still makes something 'happen' to me!! So many broken hearts when he got married! he he

  • @mssusan1961

Were you around at that time? I wasn't, but I've become a fan of this group only recently and I'm interested in knowing a little more about them back in the day. Do you happen to know who he married and how he met her? Also, how old was he. He must've still been a kid!

  • @stitchesful Hi Stitches, Peter married a French actress named Mireille Strasser. They were married in 1968, when he was twenty and she was 22. I don't know how they met but, both being in showbusiness, their paths were bound to cross somewhere!

  • @sapphiretaurus

Thanks for the info. How interesting! A sweet actress of all women. He certainly settled down in a hurry. she must've really swept him off his feet1

  • @stitchesful You're welcome. She certainly did sweep him off his feet. At Herman's Hermits' official website, there are copies of '60s magazine articles about them.

  • Is this song about boners?

  • @ Simo0793... why would he ask if it's happening to her too if it was about boners..?

    Idiot!!

  • Maybe he waws talking about his latin boyfriend julio

    Idiot!!

  • How very dare you!

  • Haha how old are you 60?

Congrtulations on figuring out how to use you tube

  • Obviously a lot older than you my love. I am now out of this poor excuse for an argument... you can put all the stupid comments you like now, I wont see them. Have fun!

  • Yeah enjoy your life you you probably dont have much left ya old bitch.

  • @suzayyy64 Don't let that wanker bother you Suzayyy-There's a right load of them on YouTube........He's obviously the only 'boner' connected to that song.....

  • The Laurie Bower Singers perform this song too. But more upbeat

  • nancy sit sang this song tooo

  • so did The Laurie Bower Singers but more upbeat.

  • I do agree this is the best version of the song. Im assuming its live...from what ive seen they were better live.

  • there`s room for all sorts of music, Led Zep for loud, heavy stuff, and yet HH is just fine for the sentimental lightweight endearing music........

  • a nice song, from a nice group, with a nice leader (peter noone), with a nice voice...

  • what an adorable endearing song! they just dont make music like they used to...i used to dance around to this with my sister when I was 7 or 8! The Italian version too was a favourite...

  • My 6 year old daughter loves singing this song. And in my opinion this is the best version.

  • Esta cancion es lindisima en ingles como en todas las lenguas en que fue traducida del italiano. La escribio y cantò Riccardo Del Turco, su nombre italiano es LUGLIO.

  • C'è anche la versione italianaaaa!

    "Luglio" u.u

  • such a lovely song

  • btw check out my chords for this song on ultimateguitar :)

  • Dang, listening to this does make me miss the 60's and 70's, a great time indeed musically.

  • I sang this song on the stage 40 years ago today (March 1st 1969)

  • does that make you a hundred and forty?

  • Some time between '66 and '68 he had his teeth fixed. I kinda miss that rogue fang of his.

  • Funny how people seem to be defined by their teeth these days. There probably isn't a celebrity on TV or the big screen who hasn't got a perfect set of gnashers - and even ordinary mortals seem to be following their example these days. More and more of my middle-aged friends seem to be flashing a perfectly even set of whiter than white teeth these days ;-))

  • From their final album (and their best one imho) BLAZE.

  • "Something Is Happening" isn't from Blaze. Blaze is a very good album and is my favorite out of their albums.

  • Must have been a 'bonus track' on my Blaze CD. Great song.

  • That sounds about right. I wish I could get all of the album CDs, but they're so expensive to get here in the US, but luckily I have all of the original LPs except "Hold On."

  • That's a nice little song. I have a lot of respect for this group. They may not have been as big as the Beatles or the Stones, but they sure did put a lot of enthusiasm into their work!

  • Exactly what I thought... what a pleasure to listen to their uncomplicated and soothing music.

  • @mrbobbyh Little tidbit....The Rollinng Stones were the opening act for Herman's Hermits in the 60s. Mick Jagger was not happy about that though, needless to say. I worked with The Hermits in the 70s and they told me about that.

  • @abuiltmale the Rolling Stones did not like competition.

  • @mrbobbyh agreed

  • txs vynil great song happy new year

  • Miałem taki sam golf pomimo że żyłem w komuniżmie !!! Peace !!!

  • A nice quality video!

  • Thank you for posting this lovely classic.
