please please please help me out !! i am using high config comp but when m trying to animate my product its getting black at the end or mid....:( hope to get support from your side please.. i am architecture student so using home designs and all!
i am using vray sp4 ( 1.4) using vray cameray with vray sun.. still not getting my animation proper... please help me out..?

@Tutovillage maybe more power than scanline but mental ray i dont think so maybe vray is a little faster because it is easy to adjust or render but if youre study mental ray it is very powerfull render engine,and i think that i-ray is beast also,i havent try it yet
@glenn3646 No doubt dude.. Mental and V are almost same in power. But V have some additional features (Like real time rendering). So V is powerful than Mental.
I didn't say that mental is bad. It's a powerful engine too.. There is Brazil engine, which is powerful.
No idea about IRay.... sorry.. never tries to use that.. Thanks for the info.
a huge difference. V-RAY is the best renderer in the world and mental ray which is the built in high-realism renderer with Maya, Max, Cinema 4D, XSI, is very good and makes realistic shaders. Even google Sketch-up has V-Ray now. Insane huh? The render times are also very very long.

3ds max has the default renderer of the Scanline renderer, but it also comes with mental ray which is a very very powerful renderer.
but most people use vray, a plug in for 3ds max, to render for architectural projects because it's just easier work with and produce decent results for architectures
@Pintoleite3 The Sketchup plugin is brilliant for simple, stationery models. It does not perform well for animation, as a movie has to be compiled from hundreds of separate images, creating huge render times and resulting in a lot of hard work. I would recommend VRay for SU, as it is by far the best plugin their is for Sketchup - you won't find anything faster, more detailed or more effective than VRay.
which are the best and easiest programs to render my projects... im in the 4th years of achitecture here in portugal, and im beggining to learn the basics... ive tryed archicad and still im really bad... pls help

I think easiest and best would be Sketchup with the v-ray plug-in.

The easiest one is Cinema 4D, a bit more professionell is 3D Studio Max, and for rendering, you should take VRay ;)
