wow, 23 and already a first officer of a A320, and it takes about a year tot get there,that's amazing!!! in the US it can take about 7 years in the regionals with a miserable paycheck, and the quality of pilots is the same in Europe and America. forget about it, i'm going to Austria.

Austrian airlines one of the best in europe in 2007 flew from toronto to vieena to krakow (poland) it was amazing fligth. nice people, good everthing.

Hey thanks for the subtitles!! It's so interesting. I was surprised like kevininsimi when I read that the copilot is just 23 years old! Man I feel soooo old. I wish aviation had been like it is now when I was 18.

I'm crazy about airplanes, I play Flight Simulator, obviously it's faaaaaar from reality but it's a start. If I had the time and money I would go for it. As I said, I wish I had seen this video when I was 18.

I know its not the same but i have seven years experience on the flight simulator and i'm still interested at flying. now, i wanted to do after school mature but i saw, it's way too tuff for me. since 3 years i'm in an education as packaging technologist (which isn't anything with airplanes), I still have to do the military after my education and then i'll see what life makes out of me :D

think that the visual requirements are too restrictive, it's a normal problem to wear glasses and that shouldn't be a problem. in many countries are glasses allowed, as long as you meet some requirements, independent of diopter...

Come to Germany. I'm 19, just starting training fo Lufthansa, and I'll be an FO on a320 or E-jet in two years, too (if the economy doesn't go down too bad). =)

toll! gehör hab ich ein perfektes laut heer, technisch interessiert bin ich, genauso wie aviatik enthusiasmus is genügend da.. aber ich bin zu klein um ein paar cm und ich hab ein problem mit meinen augen das mich selbst zwar nicht einschränkt aber untauglich macht für den piloten beruf weil das auch mein untauglichkeitsurteil fürs heer war.... danke liebe natur...
