It frustrates me that she hasn't used an once of 'smarts' since this whole saga with Silas began. Okay, Brendan is gay. The accusation is that he is a serial killer. I know the police may have all the answers, but most serial killers that identify themselves as gay tend to target and kill boys and men. This so goes against a criminal profile. For those who have been following anthony's vid... Today marks the annivesary of last episode of ATWT since last year. It's just pains me to think that for a character like Rae, the show had givem her a proper memorial service. But what had ATWT done to Dr Reid Oliver? He was a character so loved by fans but yet so terribly treated. Just saying

She makes no sense to me.
@anthonydlangford I totally agree. Cheryl's not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Although she's sticking up for Brendan, she certainly isn't really doing anything to try to help. I'm also disappointed in Ste who is lashing out at Brendan for the wrong reasons. He's angry about their failed relationship, and also for feeling guilty over Rae's death because he feels he chose Brendan over her friendship and now she's dead.
I just think it's funny that folks think the police shouldn't believe Brendan is the killer and they should be investigating when they have no reason to believe he isn't the killer.

Brendan was running around the village during that time so it'll take a while for his whereabouts to be confirmed. Plus, time of death isn't quite so exact. They have to go from her last known whereabouts and trace her movements, too, probably from the time when he threatened her on the street.
