  • "This video is for entertainment purposes only", Yea no shit. I was actually cracking up watching this. What a botch job! Worst execution ever. Pretty funny though. File this under comedy. Please fix something else (anything) and post it on YouTube.

  • buen video pero mas chambon no puede ser jajaja

  • hes a butcher. he has massacred that adapter!

  • 2 things are priceless in this video =D

    - you got your fingers cut

    - you keep saying dont do this n that as it will void warrenty xD

  • i need this guys number so i can refer him to a friend

  • I don't know why people would would worry about warranty the only reason u should be Doug this is if you don't have warranty and damn that looked like it was getting butchered I'm actually found this video very funny from@jonsem2

  • Worked perfectly for me.. saved me €90 for some stupid weak cable

  • i tried it and it actually worked except i didnt put it in oven didnt wanna cook it

  • Muppet, no in fact Chief Muppet!

  • Geez! What a ham-fisted butcher. No finesse.

  • @lekfx Elmer's glue no less! Ever hear about cyanoacrylate? (superglue, stupid!)

  • Ouch

  • the HARDEST way to break your mac charger!! Thumbs up if you agree!

  • Comment removed

  • totally worked for me and i totally skipped a few steps. and with a lot less moaning.

  • Yes, they'll notice if you open it on the side but not the glue all, the electrical tape and the fact that the cord is shorter...

  • Right, don't crack it open on the side or you'll void your warranty. Got it.

  • HOLLY SHIT YOU ARE A MORON! you can't put out an electrical fire with water, you need a fire extinguisher. a 2nd gradar knows that water makes electrical fires worse.

  • two things to do to avoid breaking chargers every month.

    1. take good care of it, don't throw it around, and swing it around by the cord. keep it clean and don't drag it on the floor.

    2. if for some reason your charger does break, be careful, don't be like this moron and cut yourself because you wan to show people that you know what you are doing and can do it quick. do it slowly, and take your time, unless you want blood stains all over your charger.

And remember, don't be an idiot.

  • why cut your self

  • I would like to point out it is Elmers glue for the choice of glue ... and then it is put in the over ...

    *facepalm

  • are you tweaking dude?

  • ur just gonna put it in the oven and then the freezer

  • haha u cut ur finger

  • wow is all i gotta say to that hahahaaaaa!

that was too funny LMFAO @ the oven

  • I'd hate to see how you treat your child when he/she has an illness

  • One of the most painful things I have ever watched. But man, this is brilliant.

  • i'd be afraid to burn down my house

  • put it in the oven!

  • IT WORKS! Thanks OP you just saved me 50 bucks!

  • hey if this video is serious personally i think youre really skilled figuring this out all at home thanks man

  • you work as if there were a knife on your nick!!!!! slow down lol ,and watch that adaptor it

    might burn your house lol

  • pls, show us how you do macbook pro repairing :)

  • This is a wacky video for sure but, he knows what he's talking about when it comes to fixing this power adaptor. He maybe a little harsh with his tools but hey, not everyone takes aesthetics seriously!

40,684 views and counting must say something about how entertaining this is, a bunch of people who want to fix an expensive item can now go ahead and do it, just don't let him fix your Rolex thats all };(0)

  • your just doing it wrong

  • Comment removed

  • Crazy and impatient Guy !!!!

  • Is this a joke? Damaging the plastic will void you warranty, and ripping the thing up on the inside won't? Haha. Also, I would NOT suggest this if you are under warranty, just swap it out for a new one.

  • thats some hardcore redneck fix xd

  • @ashia4life313 1% elitist!

  • @kelloggshow Lol 1% elitist. If that's a jab at the occupiers then that's hilarious.

  • @kamren64 ummm ... it's not real. it's a spoof. lol

  • if The Blood Doesn't Get On It It Won't Work. Always Be Sure To Add A Bit Of Blood.

  • @blastcap946 LOL!! nice!!

  • One of the most RedNecked repairs known to Redneck kind. . . and that is being polite.

  • @siberian02 I'm gonna be polite and simply laugh quietly that you watched the whole thing and didn't realize it was a spoof ... oops!! =0

  • @kelloggshow i have actually used your video to fix two adaptors and i gave a little blood in doing so also, but hey the adaptor works now....!

  • @siberian02 1% elitist!

  • how to facking open that shit pleas

  • my macbook charger is actually broken, and as I type this I have 1% battery left and this is what i have been taught in order to fix it. I hope I don't get blood on mine....

  • @Antend0 that SUCKS!! =0

  • After 3 years, which is what the Apple care warranty is for, a new charger wont matter much as the battery will be on its way out or dead.

  • If you took it into an apple store they would of gave you a new one for free. Yet, instead of getting a brand new one for free you went and did all this.

  • @kalijasin yeah, see, nothing is free unless you voted for Obama ... then you get the free swipe card and cell phones and computers and houses and millions of dollars in bailout money only to go bankrupt and prolly get bailed out again. We choose to recylce and fix as much as we can before panhandling ...

  • @kelloggshow I got my macbook pro for free, so speak for yourself :-)

  • @kalijasin of course you did ... did you vote for obama?

  • @kelloggshow why do you say stupid stuff? are you actually stupid or do you just not think?

  • @kalijasin i was always taught there were no stupid questions, only stupid answers ... owned. did you vote for him?

  • @kalijasin no if your computer is out of warranty

  • @denisrenelara after 3 years you the battery will be dead or almost dead anyways.

  • @kalijasin but you can get a free one. no biggie. corporate america owes you ... right? muaaahaaa

  • @kelloggshow If a product or part is defective because of how its designed and/or manufactured then they have a legal obligation to replace it at no charge.

  • @kalijasin absolutely, but that's not always the case and typically things last thru the warranty and then you fix or buy new. :/

  • Comment removed

  • @kelloggshow if a laptop battery lasted longer then 3 years then someone has gotten really lucky or they are just not using the laptop much.

  • @denisrenelara what does that have to do with the charger?

  • @denisrenelara A charger is worthless if the battery can't be charged.

  • @kalijasin that has nothing to do with the fact that apple's charger break easy

  • @denisrenelara Mine does not break. Maybe its how you use it, tuggin and pullin on it to hard.

  • @denisrenelara even if its breaks as easily as you say it does then it still should break within the warranty NOT after.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @kalijasin did you just said "it should break within the warranty" I dont know about you, but I'll rather my chargers dont brake until after years of work, not within the warranty period

  • just use duct tape duct tape can solve any problem

    \

  • @cankid12 yes it can!! =0

  • @cankid12 LOL

  • 1. Ebay

    2. Find one for $10

    3. Purchase

  • @3GBlog that's no fun!!!

  • Why didn't you replace the broken capacitor with a new one!?

  • @HaraldZ0r because cooking it in the oven and then freezing in the freezer is the best! =0

  • @HaraldZ0r basically, he did not want to spend the $0.50 for a new capacitor.

  • @kalijasin elitist!

  • Damn it man,, u cut urself in process? planning to use water in case of fire caused by electricity? and with all those tools lying around i hear a two year old's voice from behind???

plus the wire tube casing u threw of can be reused with heated screw driver making a hold large enough to encase the soldered wires..

    but good effort nonetheless :)

  • @dks6983 it was just a joke ... =0

  • @kelloggshow good one it is for sure :)

  • I bet you wanted to cry haha

  • @SeniorFifi laughing so hard, tears were running down our faces!! =0

  • @ProjectCheMax we are here to help!!! =0

  • @kelloggshow

What do I have to do if my charger is "semi-charging"?

As in there's only 8% battery power but I put the charger in and it says "not charging" but I've been using it more than long enough to consume 8%.

  • i just pulled my cable and lifted it high up and it works now cuz when its at a certain level it doesnt work but if i did this HA my mum would kill me .-.
