Yes! It is specifically for light duty pickup trucks and SUV's. The blade itself is plastic. My friend has one on his Toyota Tacoma and it works great!
is it light weight? because i read you cant really put plows on jep grand cherokee's but im thinking of buying a jeep but i have to plow. So i figured if it was light enough where it wouldent dammage the "partial frame" it has then its a good idea.
Another low cost alternative for a rear mounted snow plow is Hitch 'N Plow which is a 3 point hitch adapter that allows you to attach a category 1 farm implement to your 2" Reese hitch. Cost of adapter is $149 and all you need is a winch (about $100) and a 6' 3pt blade which is about $300. In total about $550 for a low cost snow plow. I developed and patented this when I lived in Lapeer, MI. Search on Hitch 'N Plow on YouTube for a video.
