@daimon7 my boss was Jewish. He could care lessabout christmas in the first place, he just wanted the tax write off. And if you work for a company that gives bonuses, its really just more taxable income so i dont know if calling it a bonus and associating that with celebrating Christmas is really the same. Cus my old boss (i quit on 11/18) is not going to send me a check out of the goodness of his heart.

If he states it is a gift for Christmas, then I would tell him or her I don't celebrate christmas. It will then be up to him/her to say...well take it anyway or take it back. When I was in corporate America, I told my boss that I was willing to work on X-mas day due to the fact I did not celebrate it.

If they say Merry Christmas, your response can be have a nice day. If they say Happy Holidays...your response can be have a nice day. @kevante1 i think the best response depends on who it is. If you are at a store and the cashier says it, saying I do not celebrate christmas, it has nothing to do with christ is sufficeable. If it's a family member GO IN ON THEM. If it's some random stranger, choose what you want to say, either ignore it or use the cashier example. Dont be afraid, Christ wasn't and to be afraid of a little thing like letting people know you dont celebrate Christmas is sad and is pretty cowardly.
@kevante1 and one last idea which goes with ignoring it is a small smile. This works if you are in mixed company (like at work or something, since it would cause u to be in a religious debate). Beyond the fact that there are so many religions who do not celebrate Christmas so for people to assume you are one who does celebrate it is dumb anyway.

And if you work for a company that gives bonuses, its really just more taxable income so i dont know if calling it a bonus and associating that with celebrating Christmas is really the same. If it's a family member GO IN ON THEM. If it's some random stranger, choose what you want to say, either ignore it or use the cashier example. @yvalondraful u right. They love the world and everything about it and dont want to come out of it. I feel like Noah sometimes, because that's exactly what he went through for 120 years trying to warn the people and in the end you see only 8 people went on the boat with him, and it wasn't his brothers, sisters, cousins, best friend, etc. It's very telling!

And yes indeed, you are telling the truth...they will ask you if you are a Jehovah witness. I had to get surgery and told them I will not take blood under any circumstance...the nurse asked if I was a JW. I said no...I merely follow scripture. She was a JW...and she said..I never experienced someone requesting this who was not a JW. I said well now you have.

@yvalondraful i learn from GOCC too. i am leaning more to the real Hebrews for learning every day. Christmas was updated by the Catholic Church. And those who celebrate it always go to the dead language called Latin to prove it's ok. And some of the things that GOCC teaches really creeps me out, but its reality and truth. so I just pray to Yashayah for comfort. I am a white woman and happy to know Ahaya and yashaya, but not baptized yet and I am already welcomed. some people are so blind.

I'm not disagreeing that this is pagan in origin and shouldn't be celebrated, but here's an interesting proposition, I have personally either known or seen people either come to Christ or at least question more around this time of year and also around Resurrection Day, so my huge run on sentence point is this, if it's a tool to attract people and get their real attention on the real Jesus how is that a bad thing again? you can't expect everyone to know everything at once instead break them slow

They are coming into the Pagan Christianity and false doctrine which is NOT GOOD!!! Because then they have to re-educated in teh truth later so again where is the good in that??? There is no good!

@RINGO4LIFE I try to tell my family and people that they shouldn't celebrate Christmas, but most look at me crazy. Its no surprise that a lot of my family started to turn on me but it lines up with scriptures Matthew 10 34-36. They can keep their trinity, virgin, birth, and xmas, but I refuse to celebrate these pagan traditions.
I wish I could live with some brothers and sisters in the faith of the Most High YAH and away from my own family with these pagan traditions.
