  • Best review on the jawbone that I've found and this review is ancient now, lol. Worth the whole 10 minutes to watch.

  • Hi Robbie,

when you are in a loud environment, it's also difficult to hear the other end.

I actually wonder how loud the incoming voice is from the Jawbone?

    TIA Joerg

  • I'm sorry for a double post, but I am stuck between the Jawbone devices and the Plantronics Voyager Pro.

Which do you recommend is better?

Also, specifically, which Jawbone model is better?

  • From 7:22 to 7:33 there is a stalker girl in the background.

Or is that my imagination running wild...

  • @pwnrzero

    That's just your imagination

    you.don't.see.anything...

  • What a great review. Thank you so much!

  • EXCELLENT review and test. please repeat with thenew icon and the platronics voyager pro.

  • have you upgraded your jawbone to a newer version? great vid

  • hows your van doing?

  • im sure its real, but its funny the way he puts his hands up to prove the engine hasnt changed - the accelerator is a pedal!

  • He meant for "Look at me, I didn't turn-off the engine"...

  • Thanks for Sharing Robbie, Great Video.

  • This video sold me. Great tests. 5/5

  • woop...just got this...it awesome... ive had LOADS of b/t headsets and this pwns all of them !!

  • Great review. I was deciding whether or not to get this headset and your review convinced me.

  • Best Bluetooth review ever... SOLD!!!

  • Great video!

Just wondering can u use this for laptop as mic and speacker?

How do u record the audio straight into your video I wonder?

  • Yes, you can run it as a bluetooth device on a computer. It's great for Skype. There are some problems getting it to work on Linux thus far, but that's typical of bluetooth headsets on Linux (for now). I did the video by installing a modem in my computer and connecting it to the phone line, then I called in to the computer and pressed record. That's why it sounds "tinny"; it's over the phone line.

  • Can you do the same type of video with the newer Jawbone II?

  • how long does it take 2 charge the battery?

  • o yeah.. this is the best review that ive seen.. and we have a toyota previa too!! lol!!

  • atisapa - thanks for the comments. The amazing thing was, only a week or two after this video was recorded, our exhaust system finally fell completely to the ground. It was time to retire the van, so we did. I *loved* my Previa, but I'm glad we were able to replace it with another Toyota (a '98 Sienna) - very close to the same van, just newer.

Thanks for watching & commenting! Check out my web site for more.

  • after ive seen this video.. i bought da first jawbone bluetooth they released not knowing that they have a new version of bluetooth... anyways.. im still going to buy the new one.. haha!! im gonna sell the first one on ebay.. anyone wants to buy it?? just message me..

  • Robbie, that's probably the best review I have ever seen. Your demonstration was incredible. Very innovative. I'm going to purchase the jawbone(2) based solely on this video. Thanks

  • rells2000. Thank you.

I'm certain you'll love the Jawbone(2); they improved the fit, so you no longer have to "bend" it. I'm currently writing the review for the 2nd gen Jawbone; so keep an eye on the site for more info.

Thanks for your high praise. Means a lot.

  • This is by far the best review yet! I'm going to really post this everywhere I go.

  • Thank you, GothicMaverick2. Glad you enjoyed the review. I really try to be "real" with my viewers; it's not propaganda, and it's not faked like some out there. What you see is what you get. Thanks for watching!

  • I love how your driving and talking to a camera at the same time. yeah, that's safe...

  • Haha! I'm careful! :) I've seen people using text-messaging while they drive; so I'm not nearly as bad as they come :) But ... uh, thanks for noticing? hehe.

  • this was a great and informative review.

  • aye dat shyt go hard...i bet u gotta have mega gwop 2 git it doe...it prolly cost bout 400 dollaz

  • MSRP (the suggested retail price) is only $130. I bought mine for $90. It's not expensive, no.
