awesome band, saw them live at the Bournemouth International back in the 80's - Dr Robert had a stunning voice, and the whole band just had that 'feel good' atmosphere about them. Awesome gig - one of the best ive been to :)
Good song, but that annoyuing speccy cunt put me in a bad mood and almost spoilt it. By the way, does anyone else think that the good doctor sounds German when he sings?
This is the first and I believe that it was this very performance that I saw on live TV my first night in England with my family. I was impressed then and I am still impressed now! I wanted this to go to #1 in the UK so badly. And I was ecstatic when it debuted at #39 on American Top 40! I still love this record especially the US single version.
Having survived the 80s, there are very few songs and artists that I still enjoy as much as the first time I heard them, this is a rare treat, thanks for posting this one
This is such a fantastic record. I remember hearing this on the radio when I was in the UK in the 90's, and it was magical walking around with a walkman listening to this magic.
sax player steals the show for me,great sound think its a selmer alto, does anyone know? thanks.

The Blow Monkeys is not underrated...they had huge commercial success. Talents like is practically impossible not to notice.

@forcefin I wouldn't say that they had huge commercial success.
