This is an excellent idea if your tyring to fully grow your eyebrows out and don't want to reshape them too soon. I tend to do that and I end up ruining the shape of them too soon. I really like this idea. It's very helpful.

Koren, hi, I always have a problem with the small invisible type flat mole which is smack in the middle of where my eyebrow arch is and it is so difficult to get a percise line or angle with a pencil or a powder. I also have thicker skin right along that arch and I don't get a smooth line because of it. Can you help me with any of your wonderful pointers for this particular problem?

I do it the same way without the wax though.

Some days a bring the line down. But other days I draw the lines upwards and look like an elf. The fashion is to take the tail of the brow down which and drag the eye down as well.

is the cosmetic sealer a must, or could i do this using only the brow wax? can you also suggest any good brands for the cosmetic sealer? also, could the little 266 brush you used to fill the brow be replaced by an ordinary drug-store eyeliner brush? sorry for asking so many questions but i have terrible eyebrows and need to start filling them in with something that isnt just an eyebrow pencil :( i really love your channel btw x

could you use this method to find a new eyebrow shape? and one other question, how do you take off the wax with out damaging your brows hairs, like making them bend in funky ways or taking some of the hairs out?

yes you can use this to create new shapes. The brow wax simply washes off with cleanser and warm water. Then I use a brow groomer brush. It doesnt bend or pull any hairs out.

Hey Koren! I dunno bout u but I'm a diehard What Not to Wear (US) fan and they had this episode in 2006 entitled "Jeannie P". In it, Carmindy shapes the lady's eyebrows using some sort of powder that she first brushed on the entire brow (small MAC brush) and then used a makeup wedge and rubbed it along the brow. The brow came out perfectly shaped, with all the strays gone and w/o plucking. Tell me, do you know where this miracle powder is sold, b/c I would LUV some! Thnx and I luv ur vids!

I need your help, Koren. I'm planning to buy an eyebrow product from MAC but the thing is I can only buy one at a time...My brows are really unruly and I have black hair, if that helps.

So which one is best to buy?

Brow set? Brow finisher? Brow shader? Or the eyebrow pencil?

your best one would be the Brow Pencil - if you have black hair, try Velvetone. You can just fill them in using little check marks then grrom the brows using a spoolie or mascara wand.

if you don't have the sealer, is there anything else you can use to seal the wax? for some ODD reason they give you (in the ben nye student kits) the wax but no sealer...which is frustrating...

I've seen where other people apply some spirit gum before applying the wax. Is it really necessary to use the spirit gum before apply the wax, or could I just get by doing this on someone without the spirit gum like you've done? Thanks! :D

depending on the wax you use - some requires a little spirit gum, some dont. So go for the waxes that doesnt require it. The one I used I find no need for spirit gum.

Its Eyebrow Pencil from MAC. It doesnt need sharpening, you just twist the handle, much like a mechanical pencil.
